Purrs Abound
Siamese Rescue of Michigan, Inc. is a non-profit Rescue devoted to rescuing
Siamese and Siamese mix from Michigan shelters. These cats would otherwise meet
the fate of euthanasia or be sold to research facilities. As foster space
permits, Purrs Abound will also assist in the placement of other purebreds and
their mixes, even owner turn ins.
Because the need for rescue is so
great in Michigan, we are afraid that we can only offer assistance to the
surrounding States until our foster volunteer base grows larger.

I foster for Purrs Abound, and I must say that's it's been a very rewarding experience. My first foster, Lexee, decided that she wanted us for a forever home...so here she stays. :)
Our second foster, was with us for a very short time...only a week. Lila was a very beautiful lilac point Siamese. She loves people and loves other kitties! I feel very privileged to have had her in my home.
Our third foster, Peanut, is still currently with us. She's a sweet cat, and gets along well with Texas. Lexee isn't so sure about her yet, but I think she'll come around. Peanut's gone from a shy girl here to a lovey girl. She likes to cuddle in bed and will chirp softly to get your attention.
Purrs Abound is definitely in need of foster homes. If you'd like to experience saving kitties from euthanasia, and providing them with a good home until their forever home is found, please contact: purrsaboundmi@yahoo.com
