| Aveling & Barford DX no.AD 159 of 1938 pictured at the Town & Country Festival 2000 This engine was acquired by chance by Mike Owen, our vice-chairman. A lady came to our compound one day asking if anyone was interested in buying a roller and after going along to have a look a deal was done. The engine was then given to his wife Annette as a very unusual birthday present! |
