This is the Harmony Consolidated Volunteer Fire Department's newest pumper truck. It is a 1977 Ford FMC pumper that has a John Bean HPV 70 750 GPM side mount pump and a 750 gallon water tank. Also has a High Pressure pump with 2 high pressure hose reels and nozzles for pump and roll operations. This truck was bought from the FAIRFIELD TWP. Fire Dept. Station 77 in Weston Michigan, in April of 2002. It is now in service and serves as the second truck out on structure fires and once on scene will becomes the main structural firefighting apparatus for the dept. It is currently outfitted with a 24' extenion ladder, a 12' roof ladder, 2 scba's, 500' of 4" hose, 1000' of 2 1/2" hose, 1000' of 1 1/2" hose, 3 10' sections of 4 1/2" hard suction hoses, 1 10' section of 2 1/2" hard suction hose, a 4 1/2" floating dock strainer, a 4 1/2" bottom skimming dump tank strainer, axes, pike poles, a hose bed cover, a ventilation fan and various tools for structural firefighting operations. This Ford FMC Pumper is a older firefighting engine but has been well taken care of and works very well as a front line fire engine in the rural setting that the Harmony VFD serves. |
