House fire on 1/11/2001 on Highway 1795 in the community of Kelsey. The call came in at 11:33 AM. The fire caused heavy damage to the wood frame structure. The mobile home in the background was saved. |
Fire is coming out the end of the house from the attic vent, with smoke coming out all over. Firefighters from Harmony and the Gilmer VFD battled this blaze for over 4 hours. Pictured is the very back of Gilmer engine 3 (left) and Booster 5 (right) from Harmony. Also pictured are 2 firefighters from Gilmer.
