This is RESCUE 5, a 1991 GMC 1 ton heavy duty mini attack rescue truck. It carries a 800 gallon water tank and a 300 GPM Hale portable pump. Has 200' of 2 1/2" hose, 200' of 1 1/2" hose, 200' of 1" booster line on a hose reel. Carries our extrication equipment and tools including our Jaws of Life power unit, spreader, cutter, and ram, cribbing, ropes, chains, ladder, ventilation fan, all medical supplies including a oxygen bottle and our advanced air way kit, trauma box, aed, IV kit and fluids, backboards, towel rolls, blankets, SCBA's, spare SCBA bottles, hand tools for forceible entry and wildland firefighting tools. Used as our first out on all Structure fires, first out on all Emergency Medical First Responder calls, and Rescues, also is the third truck out on Wildfires and serves as our Mobile Command post on most major incidents. |
