Going to his dresser he pulled out her neatly folded tunnel dress. The one she wore while she stayed Below three years ago. “Oh Vincent you kept this dress, lightly rubbing the fabric.” “I love this dress.” “I am so happy you kept it.” “I will wear it later today.” A week has gone by since the incident at the warehouse but Catherine has not yet regained some of her memory. She still believes she and Vincent are married and expects them to be like every married couple when nighttime comes. Vincent now looks forward to their holding, cuddling and especially their lovemaking. He gave up trying to avoid making love to Catherine. He has needed her in that way for so long. She thought back four weeks ago when Vincent surprised her with a crystal ring to replace the one she had lost and he also “ found” her clothes with Peter’s help. She had been extremely tried that day and had taken a nap. When she woke up she found the basket of clothes Vincent had brought her. After wearing tunnel clothes, her other ones no longer appealed to her. Thanking Vincent for finding them but she told him she preferred the ones she had been wearing. Needless to say Vincent was beside himself with happiness hearing her say that. Returning to the present, she decided to do their laundry. All the tunnel woman took turns but they would not let her take her turn until she had fully recovered. Vincent was working last today so she decided this was the prefect time to wash. Grabbing their laundry, she headed to the washroom. No one was there when she arrived so she took her time sorting them. She was just about ready to start washing and realized she forgot the detergent. Scolding herself for being so forgetful, she was not watching where she was going and tripped over the basket hitting the ground face down. Vincent immediately felt it and ran to her. When he arrived she was sitting up rubbing her head. Holding her close, “Catherine are you all right?” “I am fine Vincent but thank you for coming.” “I was not watching where I was going and tripped over that basket.” “Where am I anyway?” “Catherine you are in the laundry room.” “Really” and Vincent helped her to her feet. “Why did I come here?” “I guess you were going to wash clothes.” “”That’s right I was.” “I have never washed clothes Below before.” “What made me do it now?” “Catherine are you sure you are all right you seem different some how?” “Vincent I am fine really.” “Have I been Below long?” “It seems like some time is missing in my life.” “I remember the stakeout with Joe but after that I cannot remember a thing.” Suddenly Vincent realized what happened. Catherine regained her memory but lost the memories of the past month.
