Donate your new and used building materials.    We accept donations of new and used building    materials and fixtures in 100% working condition.

The Re-store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00am-2:00pm

All profits raised by the Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity Re-store are used locally to build more homes.  All of the people who work at the Re-store are volunteers so there is no need to pay staff.  Currently we expect to build an entire home with funds raised from the Re-store in 2004.

Did you know, as of December 2004, there are 118 Habitat Re-stores in the U.S.?  That's just over 2 per STATE!  That makes us here at the Fort Hood Area Affiliate kind of special.

The Re-Store takes donations of building materials and:     1st, determines if they can be used to build one of our homes.  If so, those items are set aside for future building projects.     2nd, if they can't be used in the type homes we build then we sell them to raise the money to buy the things we do need.  Our rule of thumb is to price new items at 50% of retail.  Used items are less than that.
