Guys - You better pack your bags you're going to state! The Franklin Men's Varsity team managed to come up second to Grant by 2 points to qualify for the state meet. It was a fun meet to watch as four of our Quakers came in the top 15. With Jonathon Marcus crossing the line with a 16:02.4 to come in first place. Good job Quakers, but you're not done yet...One more thing...After the race you could see Joe Ciannetti showing us how to get down. Thanks Joe..
Girls - "She takes the lead and doesn't give it up" is what could be heard about Jamila Williams as she took first place at Districts beating the highly favored Laura Westwood and Sara Burnet. But that was just the icing on the cake because the girls are going to state too. With another 4 in the top 16 and that is without Heidi Stotler. Quakerettes are making a name for themseleves. Looks like they're not done yet either.
