Hand Papermaking Supplies
A breakthrough for hand papermakers.

100 PERCENT COTTON
HOLLANDER BEATEN
DRY PULP SHEETS

It's a well-known fact that the finest quality papers are made from 100 percent cotton fibers prepared by a hollander beater. But we all can't have a hollander. They're expensive. Don't get me wrong. I want one. I want one bad. I just can't afford one now.

But I still want to make the finest handmade paper possible - great paper - paper every bit as good as the folks lucky enough to have a hollander beater.

I bet you do too.

Before now, if you wanted to make the finest quality handmade paper, your options were limited. Buy a beater for a couple of thousand dollars, or buy specially beaten - and expensive - fibers in 5-gallon buckets.

A BEATEN FIBER BREAKTHROUGH

Papermakers can now get 100 percent cotton hollander-beaten pulp sheets for a fraction of the cost of either a beater or those specialty fibers.

In addition to lower fiber cost, shipping costs are drastically reduced. And unlike bucket fibers, these pulp sheets have an indefinite shelf life and are simple to measure, reducing waste and cleanup.

So, what's a papermaker to do. Yahoo.com offers its Geocities web pages free of charge, as long as there is no commercial activity. For their generosity, I am grateful, and will respect their wishes. If you would like to learn more about these fabulous fibers and how you can obtain them, please send me an e-mail, and I'll send you some information.
I also want a digital camera, so I can put a more relevant photograph here, but that will have to wait. Actually sunflower stalks make great paper, but I'll need a beater.
From time to time, including right now, I also have available other papermaking fibers, machine felts, papermaking wires and other sundry necessities for hand papermaking, including a new powerful, yet inexpensive hydraulic papermaking press in development.

If you would like to have a gorgeous, shiny and very sturdy stainless steel fiber cooking pot, let me know.

P.S. For those of you who know me, you know I need lots of beauty sleep, so please don't call after 9 p.m. Eastern. I am thanking you
