Over the past few weeks a number of you have been asking me whether I believe we are heading for WW3. I don't believe we will be entering WW3 yet but the events ahead of us may very well lead up to it. Also I don't believe that we who believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior will ever have to face WW3 because we will not be around when it happens.

Now where in the world will we be? Yes, that is right, where will we be? Not in this earth but up in Heaven with our LORD when it happens.

How do I know? The Bible tells me so. In the first letter that the apostle Paul wrote to the church of Thessalonians, in chapter 4: 13-17 he details the moment when it will take place.

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

Won't you want to be with Him when He comes back for His Church? Imagine you are walking alongside a Christian. And then you heard something strange and the next thing you realized that your friend had disappeared and is no longer there beside you. He has been raptured (taken up into Heaven in bodily form without having to pass away first). You cannot find a single trace of where he could have gone. Or imagine you are having a meal with your friend who is a Christian and all of a sudden you friend disappears right before your eyes. And then you realized that your friend is not the only one but every one of those who believe in Jesus has been taken away in a similar manner.

Now you are going to ask me why the Christian is so privileged and does not have to suffer? That is what we call the blessing of being a Child of God. You see, the Christian is called to be the "salt" of the world. Salt has preservation power and it also gives taste to the taste buds. Because the Christians are still around, the wrath of God (God's final Judgement) cannot come into effect. Once the Christians are taken back to Heaven, there will be no more holding back of His wrath and the devil knows that. That is why the devil is struggling his level best to give his best shot to destroy as many as possible. The World Trade Center bombing is just one of them. For everyone who is alive, there is always the possibility that they may believe in Jesus and then his cause will be lost. The devil prefers to have everyone dead before they can even have a chance to hear of the love of God and respond. This way he will have company for eternity.

My friends please do not be hoodwinked by the devil. He knows he had been defeated on the day Jesus died on the cross for our sins but he does not want you to know that. And guess what he will tell the whole world when the Christians are gone? That aliens have taken the Christians away. Do you know that the X-Files is the most popular sci-fi show around? You see the devil is doing his own preparations as well to contain the "damage" to his plans and surely he does not want you to know that he had been defeated already. There is a better life, a life with Jesus. Once you believe in Jesus and receive Him into your life, the devil will not be able to touch you for you belong to the Most High God and you know what? You will be coming home with us and will not have to go through the Tribulation, which all those who do not believe in Jesus will have to pass through.

What will the Tribulation be like? Horrible! There will be great strife and great suffering and to cap it all, there will WW3 to contend with. Will WW3 be a nuclear war? It could possibly be because the apostle Peter in 2 Peter 3: 12 when describing the end mentioned that the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. Peter, writing in the first century AD would not be able to understand what we do know now of the devastating effect of a nuclear explosion.

My friends, let me urge you again to take the step of faith and believe in Jesus Who came into the world and died for our sins so that we, believing on Him, would have life, even eternal life. No longer will we be separated from God the Father because Jesus had paid the price and God will not see us as we are but as Jesus is, holy and acceptable before God. Why not choose to pray this prayer and you will immediately become a Child of God.

Our Heavenly Father, thank you for the great love you have for us in that You sent Your one and only Precious Son, Jesus Christ, into this world to die for us and to rise again on the third day. I acknowledge my sin and my need for Your love and forgiveness. Come into my life, Lord Jesus, forgive my sins and give me eternal life, life with You. I confess You as my Lord. Thank you for my salvation.
Jesus who knew no sin had become a curse for me so that I can receive His blessing. Thank you that I am greatly blessed, highly favored, deeply loved and completely protected.
I thank you in Jesus' Name.
Amen.

Now praying that prayer did not take so long a time did it? Now that you are a Child of God, get to know other Christians and share your experiences to encourage each other. Where could you find them? In a local church. Join one soon and grow together in your experiences.

If you did not pray the prayer of confession, then know this as a fact. After we have departed, please ponder again what you have heard from us of the love of Jesus. As long as you still have breath left in you, you can still pray and receive Jesus into your heart. Jesus still loves you and wants you home with Him in Heaven. Don't wait. Act now.

And the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all. Amen
