'Father killed, 2 hurt in crash'
The bad luck for Humpty Doo residents continues with a father of two killed in a head-on collision where left the two drivers in critical condition in hospital.
'Fans angry at AFL coverage'
The television station which claims its clients are its advertisers, not the viewers, - Channel 7,again screwed up by not showing the only football game that the public was interested in on Sunday ie Essendon and North Melbourne. Four footy lovers protested to the station and plenty more grumbled around town. Is it any wonder that Channel 8 win the ratings again and again and again……
'Randy croc tries to mate with seaplane and sinks it'
Queensland has tried to upstage the Territory yet again. 'A randy crocodile sank a seaplane when it tried to mate with it's float on Sunday'.
'Snake expert evades attack'
At the bottom of yesterdays story of the man being bitten by an unknown snake was a comment by a local snake catcher about how he almost, yes almost, got bitten by a black whip snake. Wow how heroic. But today he gets his quarter page on page 5 to re-iterate his non-incident. Perhaps I should tell them about the time I almost got bitten by a cobra, only it moved away when it saw me.
