“Gah!  It’s hot!”  Shinya flopped down on his couch and closed his eyes, letting the new fan he’d bought blow on his face.  He tugged at his white tank top, attempting to create a breeze to his chest.  He started to slip into sleep when a knock was heard.  “Oi!”  he rolled off the couch and smoothed his army green shorts.  Seeing a matching head band, he tied it around his forehead before answering the door.  “Die-chan!”  He exclaimed happily as Die gave him some daisies and kissed him softly.  “This is a surprise!”  He hugged the guitarist.  “I thought you weren’t going to be back until late tomorrow!”

Die smiled.  “And I thought you were Shinya and not Soniya.”  (*Author note - I probably spelt that name wrong.  I’m talking about the girl in Mortal Kombat.  ~K)

“Huh?”  Shinya looked puzzled.

Die laughed.  “Your clothes.  Never mind.”

“So...”  Shinya closed the door and bounced back over to stand by his fan.  “Why are you back so early?  I thought you said you were at your cousin’s until tomorrow?”

“We got done faster than we thought.”  He replied while walking into the kitchen to fix himself a drink.  “They wanted me to stay longer, but I was missing you too much.”

He walked back in and kissed Shinya, playfully slipping an ice cube from his mouth into Shinya’s.  Shinya giggled and pulled away, chewing the cube.  He smiled shyly.  “Die-chan!”  Die grinned and draped one arm over Shinya’s shoulder and one around his waist, keeping the bottom of Shinya’s shirt from letting the ice cubes fall out as Die dropped some down the top of Shinya’s shirt.  Shinya squirmed and squealed as Die’s equally chilly tongue and lips showered his neck with affection, causing Shinya to shiver.  “Die!”

Die let the ice cubes fall to the floor and he pushed Shinya onto the couch.  Die smiled down at the delicate beauty below him.  “You looked hot.”  He smiled.  “Why don’t we go to the beach or something?”

Shinya pulled Die’s head down for a kiss.  “Okay.  Let me change and get ready.”  They sat up.  “And maybe we can go to that new restaurant on the pier, you know, the 1950’s American themed one?  Ruby’s, I think...”  He kissed Die’s cheek and ran to their room.

Die stayed on the couch, smiling as he thought of the night to come.

Shinya ran toward the waves and back giggling, allowing the water to only wash over his bare feet.  Die watched from a nearby sand dune and smiled as Shinya turned to wave at him.  After a few minutes, Shinya ran back to Die.  He sat next to the guitarist and rested his head on the other man’s shoulder.  “Ne, Die-chan... I’m hungry...”

Die gave Shinya a pat on the head.  “Well, we should get down to the restaurant now anyway, before the dinner crowd starts.”  They stood up and packed everything up.  Die kissed Shinya softly.  “I’ll go put this in the car.  You go reserve our table, okay?”

Shinya nodded and ran off, clutching onto his hat to keep it from flying off.  Die laughed at the scene before walking to the car and dropping the beach things in the trunk.  He grabbed his jacket and walked to the pier, breathing in the salty air.

Shinya was waiting for him with a smiling face as he got up to the door of the restaurant.  “Our table’s already ready.  They’re waiting for us.”  Shinya walked into the restaurant, pulling Die by the wrist.  “He’s here!”  He announced to the waiter.  They were shown to their table by the window and Shinya eyed the ocean.  “Die!  It’s beautiful!”

Shinya held onto both his and Die’s shoes by the laces as they walked over the cool sand, Die’s arms wrapped around his shoulders.  “Die, look at the colors!”  He pointed to the sunset.  “Aren’t they magnificent?”  Shinya stopped and sighed.  “Like a painting, don’t you think?”

Die kissed Shinya’s neck.  “Hai.”  Shinya dropped the shoes and held onto Die’s hands.  “Oh!  Shin-chan!  Your hands are so cold!”  He turned Shinya around, pulling Shinya’s hands into his jacket’s pockets, making sure Shinya’s hand captured the small box that lay within.

Die closed Shinya’s hand over it and Shinya looked up with innocent wonder.  “Die-chan?”

“Yours.”  He smiled, allowing Shinya to remove his hands.

Shinya looked at the box curiously.  It was a simple black box with gold borders on the edges, but it made Shinya giddy to even wonder what was inside.  He looked up to Die, hoping to find an answer, but Die just gave a nod of encouragement.  Shinya giggled and slowly opened it, gasping and lighting up his face at the interlaced double gold band inside.  It was simple, but Shinya noticed right away that one band had his name engraved in a repeated pattern and Die’s on the other.  “Die...”

Die smiled and slipped the ring onto Shinya’s left ring finger.  He kissed the top of Shinya’s hand.  “You like it?”

Shinya smiled and threw his arms around Die, hugging him tightly.  “I love it!”  Die lost his balance and fell down to the sand, bringing Shinya down on top of him.  “Die-chan... It’s beautiful.  Arigato.”  He kissed Die.

“Glad you like it.  My cousin made a big fuss about the engraving.  He cursed at the ring constantly and yelled at me for making it so complicated a design.”

“You designed this?”

“Yep.”  He poked Shinya’s forehead.  “I would’ve been back yesterday, but it wasn’t ready yet.  I actually finished helping them with the house MUCH earlier and played video games while waiting for him to finish making it.”  He laughed.  “You didn’t think I’d actually go there JUST to help them with the house, did you?”  Shinya laughed as Die rolled them over, making Shinya on top and Die started tickling him.  “Well?”

“Die!”  Shinya laughed, struggling to get away from the tickling hands.  When that didn’t work, he just held still and looked into Die’s eyes, trying not to laugh as his stomach was aching from the funny feeling.

Die kissed Shinya softly after he gave up his torture.  “Will you stay with me Shinya, forever?”

“Die?”

Die closed his eyes and smiled.  “Like a marriage.  Will you be mine forever?  We could even exchange vows, right here, the sea as our witness.”

The last bit of light slipped over the horizon as Die opened his eyes again to look into the teary happiness of Shinya’s.  “I’d like that.”  Shinya replied and tangled his hand into Die’s hair.  “I’d love to be yours, only, forever, and you mine.”

Die smiled and helped Shinya up.  Holding him close, he whispered into Shinya’s ear, “I take you, Shinya, as my lawfully wedded Koibito, in sickness and in health, in good and bad, for richer or for poorer,”  he looked into Shinya’s eyes, “till death do us part.”

Shinya let a tear fall down and Die brushed it away lovingly.  “And I, take you, Die.”  He put his head down.  “I can’t remember it all...” he looked up, “But no matter what, I’m yours, forever.”

Die smiled. “You think I remembered it all?”  He held Shinya’s hands in his.  “We may now kiss our koibito.”  He lowered his head and touched his lips to Shinya’s, falling into a soft and loving kiss with Shinya.

They got out of the car in front of their place and walked very close to each other.  They were lost to the world until Shinya heard a squeak and looked down to see a cat with a baby rabbit in it’s mouth.  Shinya immediately broke away and made the cat drop the rabbit.  The cat tried to get it again, but Die held it back as Shinya looked in the bushes where the rabbit hopped off to.  He emerged moments later with a trembling fluff in his hands.  Die let the cat go and walked up to Shinya.  “Is it okay?”

Shinya examined it.  “Well, his ear is pretty bloody.  I think we should keep him.”  He smiled up at Die.

Die smiled back.  “Okay.  But how?”

Shinya thought for a moment.  “Well, there’s a small box in the closet that we can put him in and I have some lettuce that should hold him over until tomorrow and I can put a bowl of water in with him so he has water and tomorrow we can go shopping for food and such, okay?”

Die nodded.  “Okay, but let’s hurry and get inside.  It’s late.”

Shinya finished setting up the rabbit’s living arrangements for the night just as Die finished applying medication to it’s ear to prevent infection.  Die put the rabbit down in the box and Shinya smiled.  “I feel so happy!  Today was a great day.”  He hugged Die.

Die kissed his neck.  “Well, there’s still more of ‘today’ left.  Why don’t we make the most of it?”

Shinya blushed, knowing fully what that meant.  “Okay.”  He smiled and almost skipped into the bedroom, short hair tossing about.  Die smiled and followed him.  He got into the room and Shinya was laying on the bed, facing up and having his arms folded under his head.  Shinya’s shirt was already halfway unbuttoned.

Die laid down next to him and brushed strands of hair out of the drummer’s face.  “Shin-chan... you’re so pretty...”

Shinya giggled and turned to nuzzle his head into Die’s chest.  “Hontou?”  He threw an arm over the guitarist.

“Hai hai.  And so delicate and so wonderful.  Sa... I feel like I stole you from somewhere and some day I’ll burn in Hell for even being in your presence...”  He lifted Shinya’s chin to look at his face.  “But if that’s true, I don’t care...”  He kissed Shinya’s lips softly and looked into his eyes.  “I’d still stay with you, for as long as I can.”

Shinya smiled, flattered beyond words.  “Die...”  He hugged him.  “Ai shiteru... forever...”  He almost could’ve fallen asleep in the hug, but Die started kissing his neck softly.  Shinya giggled.  Oh yeah...  He ran his hands under Die’s shirt before taking them out and unbuttoning it.  Die pushed Shinya softly so that he’d lie on his back and his kisses went to the collar bone and started at the chest as he unbuttoned the shirt.  Once it was unbuttoned, Shinya arched up to help Die get it completely off.

Die shrugged off his own shirt and threw it off to the side.  Then, Die smiled and hopped off the bed.  Shinya sat up, confused, and Die wrapped a soft cloth over his eyes, tying it at the back, and softly pushed him back down to the bed, kissing him.  “I’ll be right back, I have a surprise.”

Shinya could hear footsteps as he left the room, as well as the door closing.  Why would he need to close the door? He struggled to listen for anything that might tell what the “surprise” would be, but he couldn’t hear anything other than his own breathing.  The door opened again and Shinya heard Die walk back in.  “Welcome back.  Can I take this off now?”

Die shook his head, then remembered that Shinya couldn’t see him standing there, naked, with the surprise in his hand.  “Nope.  I’ll take it off when it’s time.”  He kissed Shinya’s lips then went down to his shorts and he tugged on the tie that held them up with his teeth.

“Then... what’s the surprise?”

Die undid the shorts and slid them down with one hand, then used that hand to take Shinya’s hands and hold them against the bed, over his head, and he sat on Shinya’s calves.  He kissed Shinya’s lips lightly and smiled.  “This.”  With his free hand he slid an ice pack under Shinya’s boxers and held pressed it there.

Shinya yelped and fought against the cold, but Die’s body restrained him.  “Die!  That’s cold!  In more ways than one!  No fair!”  He twisted and turned, trying to get out, hearing Die laugh at him in his vain struggle.

Die stopped pressing the pack down, but left it there as he removed Shinya’s boxers quickly, not letting his “victim” go.  He once again pressed the pack down, Shinya’s sensitive parts becoming even more sensitive due to the cold.

“Die!  I’m freezing!”  He squealed.

“First you were trying to cool off and now you want to be warm?  Make up your mind Shinya!”  He took the ice pack off and smiled as Shinya whimpered.  “So hard to make you happy, gosh.”

“Well, if you keep going to extremes like...”  The sentence was cut off in a moan as Die took Shinya in his mouth, the immediate contrast of cold and hot exciting him even more.  Shinya tried arching up to fill Die’s mouth more, but Die held him down with his hands.  Shinya whimpered and moaned even more as he ached for more of the guitarist’s touch.  Die removed one hand to reach up and pull the cloth away from Shinya’s eyes and brush his fingers over the drummer’s lips.  Shinya lightly kissed the tips and raised one of his own hand to meet up with it.  He took the hand and led it over his chest and stomach and down over his hips to his thighs.

Die slowly took in more and more of Shinya sucking slowly and followed Shinya’s silent request as he stroked the thighs sensually.  Shinya moaned and mewled in pleasure and gripped on the bed sheets as he was determined to have more of the touch.  Die tried to hold Shinya down more, but Shinya was just too persistent and Die gave in, going faster and harder.  “Die!”  Shinya cried out as he arched more and more, spreading his legs wider.  He needed release and needed it fast, but Die moved away from him and smiled.  Shinya was panting with need and lust and he grabbed Die’s shoulders, determined to make his koibito resume the activity.  Die just slid up and kissed Shinya hard and possessively, rubbing their erections together.  Shinya moaned into his mouth and returned the kiss, biting and sucking on Die’s lips.

Die continued to kiss him as his knee and hand went down to spread Shinya’s legs further apart.  When they were, he slid down once again and kissed Shinya’s thighs before Shinya threw his legs around Die’s waist and pulled him down, insisting his desire.  “Die!  Please!”  He looked up into Die’s eyes.  Die kissed his forehead and nodded before slowly pressing himself into Shinya.  Shinya cried out and gripped Die’s shoulders once again, pulling him closer and deeper.  Die groaned as he moved faster, trying not to hurt Shinya _too much_, but trying to give him what he wanted at the same time.

Shinya arched up and threw his head into a kiss with Die harshly, Die wrapping his arms around Shinya to support him as Shinya leaned back into them and dropped his head back, letting Die kiss it as he settled into a rhythm inside the drummer.  Shinya gripped even tighter onto Die’s back, and he could feel blood coming under his fingernails, but didn’t seem to care much as his vision went blank and release was his.  He cried out Die’s name loudly and Die held him closer and tighter as he himself came.

After they both came back to reality, they stayed in that position for a little longer before Die slid out and they embraced even tighter.  Shinya looked down Die’s back and saw little cuts.  He slid his fingers over them.  “Gomen ne, Die-chan...”

“Daijoubu Shinya.”  He kissed Shinya’s neck softly.  “Daijoubu.”  He pulled Shinya down next to him on the bed and pulled the covers over them both.

Shinya saw his desire all over Die’s stomach and he gathered some on his finger, placing it in Die’s mouth.  Die sucked on it and nibbled at the finger before kissing Shinya and brushing sweaty hair out of his face.  He closed his eyes.  “Ai shiteru, Shinya.”

Shinya nuzzled his head into Die’s chest.  “Ai shiteru, Die.”  He closed his eyes.  “Oyasumi.”

Shinya: Gah!  I’m tired!

Kurara: Nice fic, ne?

Die:       You just can’t do a fic without someone screwing, can you?

Kurara: Yes I can!  Did you read “Song” or “Soul! Remember this!”?

Shinya: She’s right.  The ones that are done quickly are not lemon.

Die:       Yeah, took her long enough to do this one!

Kurara: So!  I liked it though!

Shinya: I think we all did.

Die:       Yeah, well, let us sleep!

Kurara: Okay!  I have to go online and send this to VM, AS, and Britt anyway.  Ja ne!
