1999 Fidelio Film Awards
Nominations
Over the year, I compile a list of the Best, Worst, and Most Overrated
films in different categories for the Fidelio Film Awards. The Fidelio
Film Awards honor art in film, unlike other awards like the Oscars and
Golden Globes, which go to the highest bidder. They also point out
the worst in film, a lot of times resulting from big budget Hollywood nonsense,
and the most overrated, which receive a lot of hype but aren't as good
as everyone's saying.
And the nominations for the 1999 Fidelio Film Awards are:

Summary of 1999 Nominations
Missed Treasure
Unfortunately, I missed
a treasure during this year that I would like to point out now, and the
nominations it could have been up for. 1999 was such a great year in film,
and Snow Falling on Cedars ranks up there with the best of that
year.
