About the Arist (by Vilma Yunger Metcalf, Researcher and Curator of Fine Arts of Paul Metcalf Art Galleries):
Firouzeh (Fifi) Razavi Jalali-Ghajar was born in Iran. She is essentially self-taught. Her works, which consist of Paintings, Watercolors, and Charcoal Drawings, have been awarded many prizes in competition all over Iran. She now resides in California. In March, 1990, she was signally honored, by being invited by the Vatican to come to Rome, Italy, to work upon the restoration of some of the oldest masterpiece paintings of Italy. Without any doubt, Firouzeh has now reached the epitome of artistic excellence with her current elegant and skillful productions. She also has reached the ultima of her artistic acumen, being able to duplicate so accurately and exquisitely some of the works of European Old Masters.
