In Kyoto, on a house that a man who lived by making pottery, a young boy who's real name was Shinta lived with Hiko. At that time there was a civil war in Japan. There was blood running in the town of Kyoto. Shinta renamed as Kenshiin was studying with Hiko the Hiten Mytsurugi Ryu. But Kenshin wanted to use the skill that he had learned to help the innocent people. So, ignoring his masters warnings, he left to go and protect the people.
When he arived, he was spotted by the leader of the Ishin Shishi. Even if he was 14 he wanted him to join them. Kenshin agreed, but his lived will changed completly. He started killing his enemies and soon to be known as the Hitokiri Battousai. That means "the sword-drawing man slayer" or "the sword-drawing master assassin". His first mission was to kill a guy named Akira in the fight he got his first cross scar but he killed him.
One time on a bar, Kenshin was there drinking, there were 4 guys from the Shinsengumi bothering a woman. Kenshin saw them. So he got up walk to where they were. And told them " Leave her alone". They did. But when Kenshin left the bar, he was ambushby a group of Shinsengumi. Kenshin of course kill them easily. The girl came out of the bar to thank him. But she arrived at the same momment as Kenshin kills the Shinsengumi attackers and got herself bath in blood. She told Kenshin "Thank you for helping me" as she did she fainted. Kenshin couldn't just leave her there, so he took her to the hotel he was staying. Everyone was impressed that the great Battousai brought a woman back. So, the next morning he woke up. Kenshin couldn't see the girl nowhere. So he ran to where the hotel owner was. His surprise was to see her helping him with the chores at the hotel. There was when Kenshin knew the girl's name. Her name was Tomoe. Kenshin ask Tomoe that he needed to talk to her. But her reply was that she was doing the chores, so it had to wait. Kenshin told the leader of the Ishi Shishi that the secret of the Battousai was no longer a secret. So there must be a spy in tbetween all of them. The Ishin Shishi had a reuninon and they ask Kenshin to be part of it. kenshin denies and tell them that he didn't want his name on the history books, that Hitokiri must stay in the shadows. When kenshin and Tomoe talk, Kenshin confesed that he is the Battousai. Tomoe had a question to Kenshin. And it was that ifhe would ever kill her. No answer came out of Kenshin. But what Kenshin doesn't known that Tomoe has a mission against the Battousai that will change his life forever. |
