6/13/03- We have all graduated from High School and at the same time have all decided to graduate from Fill. It has been a memorable experience but we (all of us) knew that we weren't going anywhere, especially with our lack luster attitudes with the music we performed for people.thanks again to those who did show up and if you find us in some popular band down the road refresh our sold-out minds ith our humble beginnings in Fill. Valete! 5/16/03- Some updating..discopgrahpy for example..yet we do plan on releasing a teaser Fill discography in rememberance of the band who will find themselves on "hiatus" for sometime. So be a sport and come see us play June 1st. Email or ask around for information 5/5/03- The band is wrapping up the small tour. Thanks to all who have come along on the trip, espeically all the strangers in the city...Some tour updates..more to come when we have more to say 4/11/03- Now being dubbed as the "Filler" tour, the band is really into all the little gigs we have going at the moment. GIGS UPDATED, including a special one in San Francisco! Besides that, Fill will take a short Spring Break soon and be on the road and play a couple of more shows until mid May. The band is actually going to try to make a professional recording...Good luck 3/2/03- Gig updates.. check the gig page 2/21/03- Our friend Joe has been nice enough to give the whole site a much needed face lift. Thanks Joe! 2/13/03- The band is regrouping and preparing for the long road ahead. The end of the month will commence with the band's first "tour" Check the show link above for specific information. We hope to extend the dates as each new day begins and it's former self ends.. 1/9/03- A new year has doned upon the band known as "Fill." Anyway, the site is being slowly updated, and we are trying to get as much of the demo online as possible. Expect it to be finished in a week. Also, the band will be gigging again shortly. We are set to play "The Barn" and a hall show in Novato with some other bands in February. But the final confirmation will not be availble for awhile.. 12/25/02- a Merry Christmass to all! It has been quite some time since the last update.. Well good news, the demo has been completed and the permanent structure of the band seems to be forming.. we will begin gigging and releasing the demo in Janurary.. later days hombres! 11/10/02- Okay!!.. So, new single up for download. "Chaser".. Find the "sounds" link above the message board and take things from there. We should also be uploading two additional tracks in the upcoming days. Be on the look out 10/27/02- Great show on Friday, or at least that is what everybody else says... Anywho, lot of pictures taken and some video stuff which we will be working on. People have asked about the demo. We are taking our sweet time with it. On a high note, we are preparing to lay down the bass tracks. All our songs, when finished with a "rough" version, will be posted online. "Rough" because all the songs wil be remastered and remixed and will one day, be worthy enough to be put on a cd.. till then 10/16/02- BIG NEWS!: Fill will be playing Oct. 28 in the evening at the Ground Up Cafe hope to see you there. More in at the Gig page 9/20/02- The new version of Lemon Head is up for download! Find the "sounds" link above the message board and follow from there.. 9/15/02- FATB will be putting up a newer version of "Lemon Head" This is coming from the "3-Car Garage Sessions" (or our studio sessions) that are still under way. Be on the look out for that and a few shows throughout October. Oh by the way, Brian is on bass..... 9/02/02- The band is currently in the "studio" laying down tracks on a new demo, after this shit is done with we will start gigging again... scout's honor 8/25/02- Our good friend Navid has joined the band on the rhytm guitar. New lyrics for new songs, (you think we just moop around till we find a new bass player?!?) And a new gear section. If you start to see pictures disappear don't worry, we are just updating... 8/11/02- On this day FATB has been changed forever. Our good friend and bass player Andy Rich has decided to leave the band (Don't worry a long and very good reason was given.) We wish him the best of luck while Kevin and Dan look into a new bass player. Until then... 8/6/02- Everyone is back in Petaluma (finely). Anywho, Kevin and Andy have updated their equipment (finely) and Dan, well he has finaly come back. Anywho, we will continue to practice and hopefully play some gigs before the end of the month. Also, with new songs comeing together a new and better produced demo something early winter. 6/2/02- This might be the last update till August.... FATB is playing two house gigs both set for the June 7-9 weekend.. After that a break for a short while... Fill and the Blanks has signed up at risingmusic.com on top (next to our Fill pic) are links to our site on risingmusic. The more people who visit our site and vote for us the more popular we get on the site, which means more publicity which links back to this site.. on and on 5/19/02- Hmm, I waited long enough to update this site... Anywho, our last gig was o.k. like a C+ grade, cause we where there but Kevin's parents psyched Kevin out, well bigger crowd, all of them liked it... New songs (off of our demo) are up for downloading, find the appropriate link. After some wheeling and dealing we have two gigs in August for sure. (FATB will play a couple of house shows up till mid-June. None in sight till early August. Although we haven't sorted out the dates, we are listed for The Phoenix Theatre and The Shop. More news as we get it 4/ 26/02- As our gig approaches we are happy to say we have finished a small demo... It's ok, nothing of digital quality, but for an analog recording it's passable. Anywho, we shall be giving them out at future gigs 4/14/02- New lyrics to a new song are on, we are working on another song as we speak, or as one of us does... anywho these will be ready for may 3rd, I hope you are 4/4/02- It seems our search for a new gig is over with.. Yup, it is confirmned, May 3rd FATB will be going back to the Groundup Cafe'.. sweet balls Johnson, sweet balls 4/2/02- Well this last week was fun... Joe's backyard gig went well and Mancuso was tight... in the musical sense.. Although more people would of been cool... ANYWHO, pics are finally up and lyrics to another one of our songs is posted. We are looking around for more gigs to play.. more news when we receive some 3/24/02- The SVHS Talent show went well, very well..We played Bread Box, and Lemon Head, and presented ourselves in a very unique manner... our roll of film is almost done with, thanks to "Dorf" who taking those pics of us on stage.. p.s. Before we play our gig at Mancuso we will be doing a small stint at our friends house, it's his birthday, this shall be our birthday present to him... LATER 3/13/02- This just in!!! It is official, Fill and the Blanks is playing at Mancuso's! Cheek the gig page for exact time and date plus Kevin rules....... 3/12/02- Gutentag!! Although not official, Fill and the Blanks will be playing at Mancuso's Sport Bar and Grill in Novato fairly soon... Dan and Kevin will be meeting with the guy in charge and will bring back an official date as soon as they get one (probably at the end of this week.) P.S. After some wait Dan is waiting for his FosteX XR-7 4-track recorder to arrive. As we slowly add lyrics, finalize and fill an entire set for gigs we will be making a "good" for the public, more on that as time passes us by 3/9/02- Hey now....last night kicked fucking major ass!! Our 1.5 hr. gig at the Groundup' went without a hitch (we even got $3 in tips!) Overral not bad for our first full gig We are looking to play at this place in Novato soon enough... after our talent show thingy on March 16 we should have a confirmation. Pictures of both the March 8, and the March 16 (upcoming) gig, will be posted by the end of the month Thanks to everyone who came out, look out for a nother gig soon and a demo (a good one, when Dan gets his 4-track tascam) tape. 3/1/02- Ahh, well yesterday the band played an audition for the St. Vincent's Talent Show... hope we play (sorry this one is not free, they are stealing $18 from each person) March 8 is still set for, although earlier rumors said of a 2hr. gig, we shall play for atleast 1hr. (yes this is free, email for directions) 2/17/02- A new section and lyrics, self-explanatory... check it out 1/21/02- New songs are available to listen to 1/17/02- Final confirmation on our gig is posted, look for the link above. We have made a small demo, used for the most part to show anybody who wishes to be part of the band 1/1/02 - A New Year!! Great, also, our first sound files are loaded (actually just one, go find out about it, doing so, by clicking the Sounds/Discography link. Dan 12/31/01 - We are going to use this to explain any changes.. well new pictures went up and NOTE: We are still waiting for a confirmation on our date at Copperfields, but until then, we will be trying to upload some songs we have put together (including an impromtu cut called "Messin' round" which is over 12 minutes long)and other samples to fulfill your appetite for music... till then..
