childhood

Oh the childhood...

KINDERGARTEN:

I was in the morning kindergaten glass. Mrs. Thompson was my teacher. I was recently reading some of my old school reports and I noticed that I wasn't the best of students. My grades were there but I seemed to be a little bit of a trouble maker. It stated that I would not focus on the task at hand and was out-spoken. It actually sounded like I may have had ADD. I have always been a very hyper active child.

GRADE ONE:

My first grade teacher was Mrs. Renolds. She was great, always had a smile on her face. I saw her three years ago and she still new who I was, now that's a good teacher. My first semster marks were pretty bad. I had a hard time crasping spelling and mathamatics (they invented calculators just for me). Once again I was labeled as an active child with little focus. I was a chatty one. My second semester every year got better. When ever I got a report card and saw that I should be doing better I reassigned myself. If I could do better I would. I remember this one day, a group of us were sitting in the back corner reading or doing work. One boy was leaning on the back two legs of his chair and it fell over. He was really hurt and everyone was laughing. I was so angry that they would laugh at someone's pain so I yelled at everyone, and the whole room went silent.
It was always a race to the swings. I won alot. It was about who could get the highest, who could jump off with out falling, who could run under people without getting kicked? These were the learning lessons of grade one.
That christmas in class we made a gingerbread house to raffle off...I won.
