The weapons have been around for thousands of years to protect the planet from danger. They have now come out of hiding, but not even they can stop meteor. The Weapons are the toughest monsters in the whole of FF7 (even better than Seperioth). The good news is that you don't have to fight them if you don't want to. If you are good enough to beat them you will be rewarded greatly, with master materias! and a gold chocobo! These guys may be tough but if you follow these guidelines you should have no trouble. There are 3 weapons that you can battle in FFVII ultima weapon flies around the world map at the end of disk 2 and disk 3, he is not hard to beat. Ruby is in the desert on the world map near gold saucer and Emerald is underwater, if you can kill these 2 guys then you will be an elite FFVII player!
Here's the Materia your gonna need for Ruby and Emerald weapons:
Knights of the round
W-Summon
Mime x3
Final attack, linked with Phoenix (at least level 4,one for each character would be good)
Phoenix
Mega All x3
Life2 x3
Quadra Magic
Bamahut Zero
Full cure x3
Ultima
HP & MP Plus (until every character has maximum of both)
Counter Attack x3 (it won't do much but every little helps)
Magic Plus x6 (KOR should now get 9999 on every hit)
underwater Materia (underwater weapon only)
You should get all these materias at their master and the more the merrier. This may sound very hard to do but the quickest way to do it is to give each of your characters a weapon with double or triple growth. You should then stock up on elixiers (use the cheat if you have to. Click here to get it) and go into Seperioth's cave an fight magic pots, give them elixiers and they'll reward you with loads of AP and experience once you've killed them. You should also try and fight the little bouncing orange balls, they don't give you any experience but they give you tons of AP.
Many consider Ruby to be the hardest of the weapons to beat but if you know how to get around his best attack he's not that bad. This may sound mad but believe me, go into an easy battle on the world map, attack two of your own characters and kill them. If you do this then Ruby will not use his whirlwind attack which will suck one of your players into the sand and they won't be able to fight again in this battle. Instead he will put his fingers into the ground, leaving his body open for attack. Don't try to hurt him until his fingers are in the ground because nothing will work. It maybe a good idea to fight in a semi-hard battle and get your limit breaks up to full, but make sure you cure yourself before Ruby. All your characters should be at least on level 80. You'll be able to find him halfway through disk 2 and on disk 3 to the south on Gold Saucer on the sandy area with a big green thing in the middle. Just bump into the little red head poking out of the sand with the highwind or Gold chocobo.
SAVE THE GAME BEFORE YOU FIGHT!!!
First revive your Dead characters with Life2 or Phoenix, then attack with W-Summon and Knights of the Round. Now you should mime, mime, mime and mime again until you no longer can, if none of your characters died during your miming then this should end up in about six KOR's! which will kill him. But if not then just keep full curing and then use Bamahut zero with Quadra Magic. If that doesn't do it then use ultima and limit breaks if you have them. Wasn't that hard was it!? You'll get a desert rose, take it to the man in Kalm who will give you a gold chocobo but you should already have one.
This guys the strongest enemy in the whole of Final Fantasy VII, he's got over 1,000,000HP! Save the game and make sure you've got all the materia in the list above with all your characters at least on level 85. Jump into your sub and crash into weapon who should be swimming around somewhere. He's got some very strong attacks, he can kill your whole team in one move. Use W-Summon with Knights of the Round and keep miming until you no longer can. Not even 6 KOR's will kill him! Use Quadra Magic with Bamahut Zero and a few limit breaks and ultima's. make sure you cure at the right times. You'll probably die about twice but the final attack linked with Phoenix will bring you back...VOILA! You've just killed toughest monster around, Seperioth should be a walkover!
He'll give you the Earths harp, take it to the man in Kalm who will give you all three master materias! spell, summon and command. In case you don't know what they are they allow you to use every type of spell by just equipping one materia ball.
