If you are in immediate
danger because of domestic violence and there no shelter |
openings, call the
Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) and they will find
you |
a shelter. It will either
be a "scattered site" apartment, a hotel/motel, or a
family shelter. |
The DTA also may provide
financial assistance. Below is a list of DTA offices. When you |
call, ask for the Domestic
Violence Advocate. |
