DTA Domestic Violence Unit

If you are in immediate danger because of domestic violence and there no shelter

openings, call the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) and they will find you

a shelter. It will either be a "scattered site" apartment, a hotel/motel, or a family shelter.

The DTA also may provide financial assistance. Below is a list of DTA offices. When you

call, ask for the Domestic Violence Advocate.
