“Hi Rob…Yeah I know you’ve already gone up to Manchester but it’s important…Erm I’m afraid we’ve had a small accident…No,it’s not my fault again!…We’re actually at the hospital right now…Yeah,hospital…No,nobody’s dead!…Now Rob,don’t go yelling at me!…The girls’ bus exploded…No,they’re pretty much alright,just some slight injuries.The doctors are taking a look at them now…Hey,it’s not our job to take care of them!…No Rob,you don’t have to come right away…No,you just stay in Manchester…Rob please!…Yeah fine,I’ll call you again once we’ve got some news…Oh,one final question.Would you tell Chris about this?I don’t want him to freak out on me again…Thanks.Bye.”
J hung up the phone and sighed deeply.Rob was a great guy but sometimes he could just get on someone’s nerves!
“And,what did he say?”Abs questioned and J shrugged his shoulders.
“He went balistic!You know how Rob is.He even told me we should have kept an eye on them but without us they would have been burned alive!”
Rich came walking up to his two bandmates and Abs asked”Any news yet?”
“No.I wonder why it’s taking so long.”Rich exclaimed while running his hand through his hair nervously.
“Yeah,me too.”Abs nodded.
“The doctors probably just wanna make sure they are totally alright before sending them home again.”J said but even he didn’t sound as convincing as normally.
Sean and Scott made their way over the waiting area,coming back from a phonecall to Roy.Strange enough he hadn’t seemed very surprised by the news about his band,almost as if he had been counting on something like an accident.
“And?”Sean asked and the three others shook their heads.
“Great,just fucking great.”Scott muttered under his breath while he sat down next to Rich.
“You know,maybe we should try to make up with the girls.Just say sorry for they way we were acting.”Abs suddenly exclaimed and Rich responded with”Yeah,perhaps we should do that.After all we did deserve being punished in some way for our behaviour.We just totally tricked them into our sad little plan.”
J rubbed his head thoughtfully and stated”Nice plan and all lads,but do you really think they will accept our apologies that easily?”
“We can always try,right?”Scott exclaimed.
At that moment the lads’ conversation got interrupted by some footsteps and the five of them turned around curiously.There stood the girls,looking not too bad.Daphne had a black eye,Tamara a plaster onto her forehead and Dee had her arm in a cast.
“Girls!Are you alright?”Abs asked in major surpise and they nodded in unision.
“Well,it could have been better but at least we’re still alive.But anyway,thanks for your help and stuff but I think it’s time for us to leave right now.”Dee exclaimed.
“Erm…girls?We need to tell you something.”Rich replied.The FirE girls,who were almost out of the door by that time already,turned around at those words and Daphne muttered”This I wanna hear.”
Rich coughed and stated a tad uncertain”Well,we just wanna say…erm…we…J,you tell ‘em.”
J raised an eyebrow but continued with”What Rich is trying to say is that we’re all just…erm…we’re just…God,I can’t say it.Abs?”
Abs shook his head at his bandmates’ behaviour and mumbled”We wanna tell you that we’re sorry.We shouldn’t have treated you so badly and should have respected you more.”
“You’re sorry!?”Tamara questioned in surprise.
“Yeah,we are.It was totally wrong to make you believe we’re in love with you.We realize we’ve probably ruined it now but maybe we can start to be friends in the future.”Scott tried his hardest.
“Sean,don’t you wanna say something?After all it was your plan in the first place.”Abs whispered over to his mate.
“Yeah,same here.”he mumbled quietly.
“Same what?”Daphne questioned with crossed arms.
Sean sighed deeply but knew he couldn’t get out of this one.
“I’m sorry.”
Sean’s words were nearly above a whisper but the girls seemed satisfied with it.
“So,let’s get this right.You’re all sorry?”Dee asked and the lads nodded.
“And you’ll never do it again?”
“No,we won’t.”
“Well,in that case I think we have to…”
“Forgive you.”Tamara ended.The Fivers all started smiling and stood up to join the girls.
“So…erm…friends it is then?”Rich asked and the 8 of them all laughed out loud.
“Friends!”
