This started as 1 page to the men and women of the New York City Fire Dept. I have grown to 4 pages and will be growing more as I can not express my pain for them in a few pages. You see being a Firefighter myself we are connected world wide to each other,, its like an unspoken bond between us.

THE FIREFIGHTERS PRAYER

When I am called to duty, God

Wherever flames may rage,

Give me strength to save some life,

Whatever be its age.

Help me to embrace a little child

Before its too late

Or save an older person from,

The horror of that fate.

Enable me to stay alert

And hear the weakest shout,

And quickly and efficiently,

To put the fire out.

I want to fulfill my calling and

To give the best in me,

To guard my every neighbor and

Protect his property.

And if according to my fate

I am to lose my life,

Please bless with your protecting hand,

My children and my wife.

Tuesday September 11th 2001.

New York City and Washington, D.C.

The Calls came in,

They Answered,

Doing what they did Best, Doing what they Loved, Saving Lives and Property the best they could. They had never in there lives seen such Chaos, such Pain and Horror filled eyes in those running from the Towers as they got on the scene.

They came to work this day like any other day. Ready to work there Shift then go home to Family and Friends.
Little did they know this was the day they would make the ultimate sacrifice to their Job and to the People they protected everyday of their career's.
At 8:45 that morning there world Changed .A Hijacked Airliner, American Airlines flight 11,crashed into the North tower of the World Trade Center Leaving a Huge gaping hole in its side.

Then 18 minutes later at 9:03 am a second Hijacked Airliner, United Flight 175, crashes into the south World Trade Center Tower and explodes.
Both Trade Center Towers sustain heavy damage and are burning.

Then south of New York City in Washington DC at 9:43 a.m.: American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon, sending up a huge plume of smoke. More of Our Brothers and Sisters respond and Evacuation begins immediately.

10:05 a.m.:

The south tower of the World Trade Center collapses, plummeting into the streets below. A massive cloud of dust and debris forms and slowly drifts away from the building.

10:10 a.m.:

A portion of the Pentagon collapses.

10:28 a.m.:

The World Trade Center's north tower collapses from the top down , releasing a tremendous cloud of debris and smoke.

Many many Firefighters and Police Officers were inside and outside. Many were Killed.

So many unsung Heroes that day, people inside that worked there and gave there life to help fellow humans to survive

It is for them I am doing this Web Site.

It is for all the EMS , Firefighters and Police Officers who gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for their City and the People who work and Live there.

My Brothers  and My Sisters 

You will surely be deeply missed. Our hearts go out to your families and with you as you take that ride to Heaven. I wish to Share these couple of  Prayers  with all of you , as we grieve there Deaths.

National Prayer

Lord, we come to You on bended knee,
heads bowed and our hearts filled to overflowing
with so much grief for the many people who have
been injured and killed in our National crisis.

We ask you Lord, to give courage
and strength to those who so bravely
go to their aid. And though their hearts will
be heavy and filled with sorrow we ask Lord
that You give them the endurance needed
to help them through this difficult task.

Please give us the strength Lord,
to get through each difficult and devastating
day that faces each of us and our country.
Protect and guide our Military that
are now being called to duty.

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders
of our great country in their hour of decision.
The burden that has been placed on their
shoulders during this crisis is overwhelming.
We ask that with Your infinite wisdom you
guide them gently to the right decisions.

And lastly Lord, we ask that you
allow us all to come together as a Nation,
to stand tall and united, so that we might
help each other in our hour of need.

Dear Heavenly Father:
We are moved by the alarming news and crisis that our country is facing.
This, the greatest nation, founded in the belief that "In God We Trust"
&
the "Land of the Free." Please have mercy on those suffering, hurting
and in
fear, and give wisdom & strength to those who are assisting. May the
forces
of evil be broken by your power and may we humble before thee, our
strength
and refuge.
Give wisdom to all our President & our leaders and bring your comforting
peace through the power of your Holy Spirit. Help us here to reach to
those
that have been affected by this tragedy.
In the name of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
