Gentleman,

On the link below you will find the Current
Guidelines for A.P. Hill Corps/First Confederate Legion. These
Guidelines where approved by General Batten on July
14, 2001. They will be used at all events that First
Confederate Legion is supporting either at Battalion
Level or Brigade Level. All new changes will be listed in Red.

Please understand that these guidelines are always a
working document, we would like everyones input on
them. We have formed a Guidelines committee to review
and make changes to them when needed.

If you would like to see something added, changed or
removed or an exception granted to one of the rules we
ask the following:

1. Send email to this address only, and please be
civil in what you say, no rude or angry email's.

2. Please remember that all guidelines are time
sensitive, meaning that if you ask for an change for a
certain battle that it applies only to that battle. We
are trying to have a set of guidelines that covers all
time frames.

3. Provide complete documentation for your change or
addition. Understand that as a unit we are doing
Eastern Theater battles and that we will go this as
bases for our guidelines.

4. Please give amble time to review the data, at
least two weeks for the committee to review before a
change will be added or an exception granted.

5. The committee will review the request, and vote on
it the majority vote will rule, and the decision will
be sent to General Batten for his approval.

6. Once the decision has been approved, it will be
sent back to the requestor, and if approved it will be
update to the guidelines and sent out to the units.

Anyone who wishes may serve on the committee,
currently there are 5 members, all we ask is that you
are a member of FCL and that you have an Email
address.
