FCL Spy Corps*
Rose O'Neal Greenhow was one of the most famous Spies for the Confederate States of America. Among her accomplishments was a ten-word secert message sent to General Pierrie G.T. Beaureguard which led him to to win the Battle of Bull Run.  She was banished from Washington DC after being arrested twice on spy charges. But her cause did not stop there, she traveled overseas to Britian and France, sending back information for the Southern States. On a return trip home in 1864 her ship ran aground  at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. She drown, and was buried with full Honors in Oakdale Cemetry in Wilimington NC.
