| Our Purpose | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| First Confederate Legion shall exist for the purpose of reenacting the War Between the States in an accurate manner consistent with the morals and mannerisms of the time period. The philosophy of First Confederate Legion shall be to educate others about the life and times of those men and women who endured the American Civil War. This shall be done through reenactments of the battles that were fought between the Union and Confederacy, living history presentions, and other means of demonstrating the history of the mid 1800's. Dedication to God and country shall be stressed. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Membership | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Membership in the First Confederate Legion shall be open to any unit, company, family, or individual dedicated to the principals of our purpose regardless of age, race, or gender. Any unit, company, or individual desiring membership with 1st Confederate Legion shall submit a written application for membership. The application shall be reviewed by the officers of 1st Confederate Legion for approval or rejection. Minor children must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult whom the minor child's parent has given permission to have charge of the minor child. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
