This is an internet project hosted by Marci McGowen
for the fall 2004 season. We have been reading many books about fall.
Here is our acrostic class poem:

Fall Is Here!
alling leaves coming down ~red, yellow, brown
pple picking time ~applesauce, juicy apples, apple pie ~YUM!
ots of animals getting ready for the winter ~ squirrels and chipmunks
ots of fun activities ~ going trick or treating, going to football and basketball games, having Thanksgiving

We Love It!

Students wrote something they like to do in fall
on their individual leaves. Here are some examples:

I like to see Iowa State football games in the fall.	In the fall I jump in the leaves.
My birthday is in fall. I like to rake leaves.	I like to watch basketball games.
In fall I eat turkey.	I love Halloween!
