The
1st Walmer
Scout Group was founded in 1926 as a Wolf Cub Pack. It has met in
several locations in Walmer over the years. The present scout hall in Fordyce Road between Third and Fourth Avenues was opened in 1960 and completely refurbished in 1986. The group is able to make good use of the adjacent Baakenskloof and Settlers' Park for training. 1st Walmer Scout Group is now the finest, fastest growing and longest established scout group in Port Elizabeth. Join us in the adventure of scouting. |
