Hello!!! My name is george or as we frequently say in
Scotland
-doddie-.
I am now retired which means I have time for my many hobbies the main one being
tropical fish
, but another is
computing
. Mind you having said that I seem to spend more time repairing
programmes I have crashed than I do anything else.
My main passion is tropical fish and over a lifetime I have kept virtually
everything from
goldfish
to
discus
and
guppies
to
octopii
.
Consequently I have built up an extensive
data base
which has constantly been researched and updated. Indeed I barely scraped
through my
Ph.D. (psychology) as I spent so much time using University resources on behalf
of my fishy
friends.
I do ask one thing however and that is for people to bear in
mind that this is NOT a commercial thing and I ask that my contact details are
respected as I
shall respect yours. After all no-on wants yet more junk mail.
COMPUTING THINGS
First a programme called '
Microsoft's
Guide to HTML and Author's Reference
' which. if like me, you found html confusing,
then seek this one out. The other is '
Arachnophilia
' [
Link to arachnophilia
] which for me is the most excellent html editor around and
I have tried quite a few.
This page has been compiled with their assistance, and others, but don't hold
that against
them as any mistakes are solely down to me.
BUT NOW - BACK TO FISHY THINGS
The
data sheets
I mentioned encompass every subject
concerning the keeping of tropical fish and range from
building tanks
;
technicals
; such as heating and
lighting,
filtration
;
water analysis
and
reverse osmosis
;
live food
cultivation
including
rotifers
the best food for fry,
and others too numerous to mention.
Naturally a plethora of
species
is included from the
common to the rare, and also
corals
and
inverts
.
The data is emminently suited to both beginners and experienced keepers alike,
and can
be obtained via an e-mail request for contact details but as I said before
please respect my
details as this is an exchange of information between fishkeepers and not a
commercial
enterprise.

questions, providing I have the answer, if you wish you can e-mail me direct
