Safety 1 (HPAC Safety)

Ever noticed your carabeaner open when it should have been closed. Use some nail polish to identify the exposure.

When the beaner is closed, you'll see the green nail polish to indicate good to go (green) When the beaner is open, you'll see the red nail polish to indicate danger or not REaDy.

A. RECOMMENDATIONS 

1. Strategic placement of windsocks to identify advserse conditions in advance.

3. Radio Communication protocols, and strict adherence to use of standardized radio frequencies for regional areas will allow other pilots and / or safety monitors to warn pilots of impending danger.

4. Education on the importance of rapid medical attention.

    - Rapid transport to a trauma centre, preceeded by: splinting, elevation and ice application at 10 minute alternating intervals should result in a significantly improved patient prognosis for temporary disabiling injuries.

1. What Safety Policies and Procedures are established at the flying site?

    a) Has the Club performed a Safety Audit, assessed Risk Managment?
