5 O'Clock Shadow
Drag King Troupe
The kings
5 O'Clock Shadow was a performance troupe based in Victoria, British Columbia.  This dynamic ensemble of characters once performed on the West Coast as a collective.  For five years, members of 5 O'Clock Shadow amused and entertained a variety of audiences.  We always strived to create inclusive, affordable, and humorous entertainment.  5 O'Clock Shadow pride themselves on having independently produced eight sold out shows within their career, filling a much needed niche within thier community.  The troupe often received requests to perform locally at a variety of venues, charities, and queer events.
5 O'Clock Shadow dismantled in 2004 with some members continuing to perform, while others have moved on to assorted endeavors.
We would like to thank the locals of the island and our supporters worldwide for their encouragement, laughter, and enthusiasm for our intelligent, challenging, and engaging performances.

Thank you.
"After viewing a performance, it's evident that (they) have got the moves, the stubble, and the necessary bulges to make them stars".

"These unabashedly home-grown drag kings aren't trying to be sexy (they don't have to), these guys just wanna have fun and make you laugh. And they will, guaranteed! True belly-aching entertainment".
