Front Bumper
Here is a picture of the winch and bumper in action.  I built it out of 5/16" thick, 2" x 6" steel channel with 4" C-channel to attach it to the framerails.  It uses a 1/4" thick steel plate to hold the winch.  I built in two 2" recievers, one has a reciever shackle and the other has a licence plate bracket that I built from scrap. The licence plate bracket fits into the reciever and can be removed when we do heavy four wheeling, to keep it from getting damaged. There is a roller fairlead for the winch and two 10,000lb towhooks on either side.  It is held on by twelve, 10mm bolts.  I weighed just the bumper before I installed it and it wieghed in at 83lbs.  The two Hella Rallye 2000 driving lights are also mounted to the C-channel.
I have used the winch for some full pulls and used the recievers for backing up a very heavy trailer with a 8' x 10' shed on it, over a curb and the bumper has held up great.  I do, however, pity the vehicle that ever strikes it.
