| The purpose of this page is to let you, the parent(s), guardian, know what is going on in your son, daughter or ward's class.On the home page there are links to: myself through email ; to a forum ( its like a bulletin board in a staff/lunch room, messages are posted an there is the option to respond) ; to the schedule for the class for that month ( this is being tried on an experimental basis); the course sylabus (accessed through the specific course page) ; and links to a variety of other pages created for this web page or found to be an asset to this page. Your son/daughter/ward received all of this information during the first week of school and is regularly reminded of it in class as it is an integral part of the course. If at any time you would like to contact me with regards to your child or to some aspect of the course, one easy way is to email me through this page. I check my email on a regular basis and ususally get back to the student the same day, provided they send the message prior to 9:00pm. I hope that you will be an integral part of your childs education, and with that in mind some of the links will be to sites that promote discussion about material that is currently being covered in class. If at all possible "surf" the web sites with your child, the more discussion that they have about what they are learning the more likely they are to recall that information.
