Merry Meet
I am but one of many on this beautiful world
I am here but for a brief time
With all that I have and
such precious short time I have
I wonder
Why have I not taken the time to see
To love the great love
To hold a baby
plant in the earth and watch life come anew
I have seen so many things
enjoyed such laughter
cried tears of loss
And Still I wonder
Have I done my best? Given myself every chance
to live a life I can learn from?
