CHARACTER HISTORY

-ATREYUU KHANEYA-

-BEGINNINGS- (REVISED JAN 2009)

Atreyuu was born shortly before the draenei settled on Draenor. He would probably be around 230-250 years old. This is extremely
young for a draenei and is not considered to be a fully matured adult. He's not technically a small child either so this puts him
at an awkward stage in his life. The human equivalent of this age would probably be in the 17-22 age bracket.

His mother Xaana was a Mage and strong in magic. His father Matiyu was a Paladin. His little sister Janika was born while on Draenor
and Atreyuu and her grew very close and would often play together. One was not often seen without the other.

Atreyuu's family settled in the village of Enkaat - the ruins now located in what is now known as the Netherstorm, not far from Area
52. It was there that Atreyuu spent most of his life. Back when Draenor was whole - this region was known as the Fields of Farahlon.

Atreyuu was rather close with his mother, since his father spent much of his time training and teaching potential Paladins. Despite
this fact, Trey loved his father and longed to be a strong Light Warrior just like him. To his dismay (and perhaps to Matiyu's
disappointment), Atreyuu lacked any gift with the Light. This caused a greater rift with his father, as the Paladin was unable to
train him.

Stubbornly, Atreyuu would try to sneak into practices despite his father's wishes for him to remain home. Apon attempting to lift
a two handed sword that was bigger than him without success, Matiyu stated that on the day that he could lift that sword to use to
fight, than he would train him in the fighting arts. Trey would have been around 7 or 8 years old in human years.

Ever since those words, Trey worked hard and without fail. As a young child, he was scrawny and the smallest of the children his age.
No one ever thought that he would become a fighter let alone a respected warrior. Trey would practice and train alone, using techniques
he had spied apon while watching other warriors unseen. He would work at night - knuckles scarred and bleeding from constant striking
on training dummies. Bruised aching and alone - Trey worked damned hard to gain his father's notice. A look of approval, a loving touch,
a word of praise. It was difficult if not rare to receive anything but a gruff nod of approval, for Matiyu was a stern, militaristic man.

It was a proud day for Atreyuu when he was finally able to lift that sword and defiantly show his father that he was worth something.
He would be about 13 human years old, at that stage when the shadows of manhood were just starting to develop.

In the years when the orcs started to attack various draenei settlements their small village was one of the first ones to fall. Not
many draenei in Enkaat were left alive. Atreyuu and his family along with a group of refugees had managed to escape the razing of
Enkaat and made the long journey to Shattrath City - the last major city of the draenei.

That flight from Enkaat was the longest nightmarish period in Atreyuu's life and he has been locked in survival mode ever since. The
refugees from Enkaat had various encounters with local wildlife, sickness and orc parties on their journey and by the time they arrived
at Shattrath, the numbers were very few. One of the fatalities unfortunately was Janika, Atreyuu's little sister. She had been ambushed
by an orc messenger while out playing by herself when she wasn't supposed to. Atreyuu still blames himself for not being there to protect
her and perhaps prevent her untimely death.

Because Atreyuu was still very young, his parents were able to to be one of the groups chosen to survive the orc assult on Shattrath
city and escaped with their son into the Zangarmarsh with Velen and the other surviving draenei. Some were settled in the Anchorite
retreat of Telredor, while other survivors lay in hidden refugee camps scattered through out the marshes. Atreyuu and his kin were
in one of these encampments - nestled out of sight among the base of the Blades Edge Mountains.

An unfortunate event that resulted in Atreyuu's severe claustrophobia happened around this time. Trey was with two younger draenei
exploring a cave not far from their camp when it caved in - trapping the three of them inside. Trey was pinned under rubble completely
and couldn't see, only aware of the young girl's hand near his own. The young male that was with them had died instantly, crushed
under stone. Atreyuu was trapped like this for almost 2 and a half days - and had the unfortunate experience of sensing the girl's
passing away, only able to hold her hand for comfort.

In the raid on the Exodar, led by Velen - the younger draenei were grouped and protected by a select group of Mages, Priests and
Nobundo with the new Shamans. A lead in this effort was Xaana, Trey's mother. Faalkor was among the group of Shamans (though Atreyuu
didn't know him at the time). The younglings were put into pods as soon as possible - in order to be further protected from the
violence. Atreyuu was not aware that his father had perished during this time at the hands of a blood elf. His last memory of his
Mother was Xaana putting him in the pod with the words "Sleep well my son, I will be with you when you wake."

His Mother was one among many who died in the crash of the Exodar, caused by sabotauge at the hands of the Sin'dorei. His Father
Matiyu, died during the initial raid of The Exodar - sacrificing his life for another (Andorhan's son).

-LIFE ON AZEROTH-

Atreyuu awoke to find a shattered people and a strange alien land and to find that he was the last one in his family left alive.
Because of still learning the common tongue he can tend to take things rather literally and is easily confused by the regular
slang or play on words.

Within days of him awakening and recovering in Ammen Vale he was told to go to The Exodar after reporting in Azurewatch. It was there
that he was told to remain with other younglings that had been orphaned from the crash. Velen had decided that any of the children without
parents would be assigned a temporary guardian of sorts until they reached of age. Atreyuu was not impressed at this, for in his mind,
he was old enough to take care of himself.

Within days, Atreyuu was summoned to see Velen privately, and was introduced to a Shaman named Faalkor Yaraliyu - who was going to be the
young warrior's new guardian.Sensing a reluctance in Faalkor to take on this new task, he quite resented the fact that he had to be 'looked
after'. Not knowing that Faalkor's hesitating interactions with him was because he reminded the Shaman of a dead family member, Atreyuu merely
thought that Faalkor thought he was just a burden. Even going so far to think that the Shaman agreed to the guardianship to say yes to the
prophet and so gain a good reputation with the draenei leader.

Velen always the wise one could see this unfolding infront of him, and inwardly knew that these two hurt souls would be able to heal one
another in due time and knew that his choice was a good one. He dismissed them and they headed to the elder Shaman's quarters in awkward
silence. Other than brief words and showing him where things were that the boy would need, Faalkor interacted very little. He gave Atreyuu
a speaking stone, and advised him to contact the guild called Maelstrom and their leader. They were all ready expecting him. Unknown to
Atreyuu, Faalkor hoped that the other members in the guild would help be mentors to the boy and look out for him - and perhaps he could make
new friends.

As he made these new friends, he slowly began to open up a little. He has been shoving down his grief and mourning from all that has come
to pass through all this short time since he had awoken from stasis. Now that he is finding moments of joy with these new friends - that
grief and buried feelings are starting to resurface, causing a vulnerability that he abhors.

It was during this time that Atreyuu first met Deila Erasmus - daughter of Lasmirria Erasmus, both (at the time) members of Maelstrom. He
had found her in trouble against a group of harpies on the elven tree island of Teldrassil. After assisting her, they hit it off rather well
and so began a strong foundation for a friendship. Trey was happy to befriend someone equivalent to his own age.

-FATHERS and SONS-

Among his guildmates, Atreyuu had found himself bonding with a fellow draenei Warrior named Jexuun. They met the day after Atreyuu had
been at the Darkmoon Faire with Sarden the human Warrior. Sarden along with other guildmates, got the young draenei to try alcohol for
the first time with rather hilarious results. He had gotten quite drunk and forgot the later part of the evening and found himself waking
up the next day rather ill. Jexuun, finding out about this was furious with Sarden and the others for allowing this to happen to him and
met up with Atreyuu to give him a good scolding. Since then, the elder Warrior kind of took Atreyuu under his wing and started to help
with his training.

The elder had taught him how to fish, and had helped much with the boy's training. One night, Jexuun and Devryn the human Warlock - spent
hours regaling Atreyuu and another young member of Maelstrom with stories of their many adventures. Jexuun told them the last story of the
evening, the story of the draenei. He told them about Velen, Kil'jaeden and Archimonde...the Burning Legion and the escape from Argus up to
present time.

Hearing this story brought back much memories that Atreyuu wished that he could forget. The denial and suppression of his feelings and
memories on what happened came rushing back with a vengeance and the boy ran off overcome with pain and grief. Devryn sensing that only
the other draenei could really be of help, let Jexuun go to talk to Trey.

After a long talk, Atreyuu calmed down but still remained quite down and subdued. After Jexuun left the pain of the other departing was
almost too much to bear, and the young Warrior fell into a fitful sleep.

Waking up with nightmares, he contacted Faalkor and the Shaman, hearing the boy's distress urged him to meet him right away and took the
boy to The Exodar. By now - the relationship between Faalkor and his charge had settled into respect and understanding. Atreyuu knew that
Faalkor's Shamanic path took him away for long periods and accepted it, but Faalkor could still see the pain and loneliness that this
caused. Seeing how fond the boy had become of Jexuun caused the Shaman to think long and hard on certian issues.

Finally, Faalkor contacted Jexuun to ask him to become Atreyuu's new guardian. At first Jex was furious at Faalkor and accused him of
just handing the boy over heartlessly like he was an object. After a long talk, Jex came to realise that the boy did mean much to Faalkor
and that the Shaman wanted him to be happy. Afterwards Jexuun finally agreed to the proposal and Faalkor then went off to prepare the
transition.

Apon finding this out - Trey's initial reaction was confusion...but then quickly turned into overwhelming joy. Faalkor talked with him
at length to explain his decision and expressed his wish to still remain a friend to the boy. Atreyuu greatly appreciated this, and his
respect for Faalkor grew and the resentment for him dissipated into full acceptance. During this talk, he also found out about Faalkor's
younger brother Remshak, finding out why Faalkor first avoided him when he first became his guardian.

Trey hopes that someday he will become a strong Warrior and that Jexuun would be proud of him enough to adopt him and become his "Archim"
(draenei for 'Father').

-GROWING PAINS-

Over time, the bond between Atreyuu and his guardian Jexuun strengthened into one deeper than mere words could speak. Trey soon grew to
love Jexuun as if he was his true Father, while the elder Warrior cared for the boy as if he was his own flesh and blood. Even though they
weren't together at all times, they were still able to see each other for training and quality time. By this time, Atreyuu thought of the
guild members in Maelstrom as his extended family and had created strong bonds with many of them.

This happy time was to suddenly take a wrong turn. During a guild gathering at a tavern in Stormwind, there was a misunderstanding between
Atreyuu and a Rogue named Raiku. Heated words soon became an all out argument, and Jexuun could not get the hot-headed teenager to apologise.
Raiku privately asked Jexuun to challenge Trey to a duel and the Warrior agreed thinking that perhaps it would be a timely lesson for the boy
to learn and knock down his ego a few pegs. By this time, Atreyuu was quite livid and there was no hesitation in accepting the challenge,
getting more and more furious at Raiku's taunts. The gathering ended after Raiku left for the appointed place. Trey had no ears for Jexuun
or his friends and fled after Jexuun yelled at him.

The duel was a flurry of rage for the boy, and even though Raiku let him win the first round, Trey's rage towards the Rogue forced her to
defeat him utterly in self defence. On the sidelines Jexuun, among other guildmates watched in tense silence. After it was over and tense
apologies were uttered, Atreyuu fled into the night back into the city without a word and extremely upset.

The next day - Atreyuu goes missing without a trace.

Jayda reveals that Atreyuu had gone to The Exodar to see Faalkor and herself the night before he disappeared. Not knowing what was going
on, Jayda had watched as Trey disappeared into his rooom, not able to reach him. The next morning, Faalkor and Jayda discovered his room,
demolished but empty. A piece of ripped parchment was on the floor with a fragment of a hastily scrawled note about an island where fights
were to be held - but didn't say specifically where the location was. Jexuun confirms the island when seeing the note as Fray Island - a
place in the Barrens where duels are fought to the death.

Faalkor, Jexuun, Devryn and Clovella form a search party and immediately set off for the Barrens. They arrive on Fray Island after two days
of travel, and look for Atreyuu but the boy is not there. None of the Warriors present knew of his whereabouts. Faalkor at this time, had
been sensing the presence of spirits trying to communicate with him and at first had thought that he was going mad with worry. It isn't until
he sees a little draenei girl dancing on the water between Fray Island and the shore seeming to lead him forward that he realises that these
spirits were from Atreyuu's family. Faalkor leads the group onward and along the shores of the Barrens while following the guidance of these
spirits, they find Atreyuu in a horribly injured state.

The boy had been brutally beaten and was near death. Faalkor had the priviledge to witness the spirits of Matiyu, Xaana and Janika standing
around Atreyuu's body. Faalkor translated for Jexuun what they were doing, as Matiyu gave Jex his personal blessing, wishing for the elder
Warrior to take his place as the boy's father. It was when this exchange was complete, that the family departed to the spirit world once
again.

After giving him some potions and field dressing him for travel, the group take Atreyuu to the closest city - the night elf city Darnassus.
There he remained in the care of the night elf Priestesses. He remained in a coma for a few weeks as the healers took him out of fatal danger.
He awoke in the presence of Jexuun, and the two had a talk, ending on a happy note as they both revealed their deep care for one another.

Deila - who by now had developed into a mutual romantic interest - had been unaware of these events because she had been on a sabbatical,
isolated in Moonglade for important Druid training. She would not find out about these events until much later apon her return.

Over the next few weeks, Trey was visited by friends as he recovered steadily, soon able to get out of bed and go for short walks. When
boredom and frustration set in, he eventually travelled to Stormwind feeling that he would be closer to his guildmates to see them to
the dismay of the Priestesses. This time, even though Trey had left without permission, he had left a note to explain his location and
reasoning to prevent worry. To this day he remains in Stormwind, adopting the human city as his home away from The Exodar.

Another issue that bothered Atreyuu at this time - was the romantic relationship between Jexuun and Clovella, the draenei Shaman who was
Auir the guild leader's second in command. Since he had moved to Stormwind, Atreyuu had barely heard from the Warrior let alone seen him.
He had all ready gone through a fall out of sorts with Clovella and Jexuun back in Darnassus when he found out about the relationship..and
now - he feels that he will end up losing Jexuun and his chance at being officially adopted.

He remains resentful and distrusting of Clovella despite the fact that she has expressed her care and concern for him. He vehemently
refuses to ever think of her as a possible mother figure despite having felt a brief connection - and does not think that he would ever
feel at ease with her relationship with Jexuun. He has not seen nor spoken to either Jexuun or Clovella in many weeks.

Only time will tell if this rift based from fear, loneliness and anger will ever heal.

-FAMILY AND TRUE LOVE-

Months had passed and Atreyuu had been through many changes and his life had taken many turns. After his retreat in Stormwind - he had
taken to hiding away and keeping to himself, even from fellow guild members. Losing the will to try and train and gain strength, he finally
left to spend some time in the Exodar, spending his hours close to O'ros, allowing the song of the Naaru to soothe his troubled spirit. There
was quite the long period where he never trained and barely ate - his form thinning drastically - his lean muscle turning more thin and slender.
His body remained stiff - especially his arms where he was injured the worst those months ago in the Barrens. His shoulders even though
healed - caused him aches and pains regularly - preventing him from being able to properly wield weapons or shields.

More of his drive and spirit for life was diminished from the fact that he hadn't seen, nor heard from Deila in many months. Scared that
he would never see her again, or fearing the worst - that she had died - he nearly lost the will to go on.

Then one day, Deila (who had been on a long retreat for Druid training) found Atreyuu sleeping fitfully not far from O'ros. She had been
searching for him - worried about the fact that no one from the guild knew of his whereabouts. The two had a heartfelt reunion..and slowly
but surely - Deila brought him out of the deep depression he had found himself in.

Also during this period there had been many changes in the guild as well. Jexuun was now the guild leader, with both Auir and Devryn on
leave and off to parts unknown. Atreyuu had also noticed recently - that even though he rarely if ever saw Jexuun (for the Warrior was usually
off in Outlands) - that Clovella among a few other guildmates had also departed for parts unknown and newfound adventure. His demeanor improved
at this, pleased that the core people that he dearly loved - remained with The Storm and that those he had felt conflict with - were now gone.

Since Deila had returned their relationship had deepened even more, and Atreyuu soon requested for her to be his Chosen, a draenei term
that meant 'The One'. Showing that there was no one else that Atreyuu would rather be with. The relationship between the Warrior and the
Druid was a deep passionate one firmly based on a strong friendship and comraderie. They worked as a pair, and ever since they announced
this new stage in their relationship - never quested without the other. They will soon be the first pair to be officially Bonded - a sacred
ritual exclusive to the draenei - involving a non-draenei.

Atreyuu during this period of his life, met new people that would soon grow to be a part of his extended family in Maelstrom. Alihandra - a
night elf huntress along with her brother Ferren, a large black nightsaber - grew especially close with the young warrior. Trey refers to her
as his aunt, and Ferren his uncle. Khalil Faraz, another Warrior like himself equivalent in age - also grew close, and Trey refers to him as
his brother. Since Atreyuu never saw Jexuun that much anymore - it was Faraz that took over his training and mentorship.

Trey however, still misses Jexuun horribly...and during the times when he actually interacts with him - he is now painfully uncomfortable
and awkward. It is very similar to how he was with Matiyu, burning for love and attention, but unable to voice it. He is willing to do
anything to prove himself a worthy son (even though subconsciously he may know that it is un-necessary).

The most recent person to show up in Atreyuu's life - was an old priest named Andorhan, who revealed himself to be an old friend of his
father Matiyu. Andorhan used to be a Vindicator like his father, but due to a near fatal injury and age, he had retired and continued his
service as an Anchorite. Trey felt a special kinship with this draenei, and they quickly grew to become friends - with the elder being like
a grandfatherly confidant.

Atreyuu still calls Stormwind his home during this time, working with Deila in the southern jungles of Stranglethorn. The pair spends many
weeks at a time offering what help they can, temporarily bunking in the large inn in Booty Bay. The lovers and now betrothed, are awaiting
with both nervousness and exitement - the day of their Bonding.

-THE TRIALS OF BONDED LIFE-

The Bonding was successfully performed in the chamber of O'ros in the Exodar. Many Maelstrom members attended the ceremony. Kahlith, a
young shaman of the guild, was able to channel the Naaru and facilitate the event. Afterwards, the entire party moved to Darnassus, where
there was much drinking, eating, dancing and of course fireworks. That night, an exhausted Deila and Atreyuu, travelled to Moonglade where
they spent a quiet month in both honeymoon and to adjust to their new otherworldly connection. The power of it tended to drain their strength,
and it took a while for both of them to adjust and adapt to the new condition. The two of them coped by spending a lot of time sleeping - as if
their brains were reprogramming and settling into the new state.

When a month had passed, the two Bonded travelled back to Stranglethorn Vale, where they continued to work out of Booty Bay. They helped
the Goblins and other citizens, defend the town from the pirates and naga that plagued the nearbye shores. Yet again - there was a period of
adjustment, for it was a different matter to handle the Bond when working and in combat. Atreyuu's intense emotions - and rage in particular
- tended to affect Deila and her ability to perform her Druid abilities.

There was one event - where during battles with the Naga, Deila lost control of her bear form and went on a rampage. Trey - trying to calm
her and bring her back to herself, ended up being injured and knocked unconscious down a steep embankment when Deila, still in bear form,
swatted him aside. Frightened - the shock of it returned Deila to her senses and she fled, fearing she had killed him. Lasmirria her mother,
happened to be in the area at this time, planning on visiting her daughter and her new husband. Searching for them, with her beast companion
Mercury sniffing them out - the Huntress found Atreyuu intert at the bottom of the embankment. His location wasn't that far from town - but
it was close enough to the Naga that Lasmirria knew that she had to get him out of there.

While she tended to his minor wounds, Atreyuu woke up and brokenly told her what had happened. Frankly the entire event scared him out of
his wits, plus he was scared for Deila, not able to detect her connection in his mind. Lasmirria, helped Atreyuu get back to Booty Bay and
settle him in the inn. She contacted her dear friend Faalkor, and the Shaman took no time getting to Booty Bay - arriving early the next
morning. It had been a rough night for Atreyuu. Feeling seperated from the connection with Deila, he suffered his first bouts of Bonding
sickness and it hit him hard.

While Atreyuu rested, Lasmirria and Faalkor teamed up to search for clues to Deila's whereabouts. By this time Faalkor thought of Deila
like a daughter to him, and was just as deathly worried over her as Lasmirria was. Lasmirria told him about Moonglade being a possible
place that Deila would go and so the Shaman left immediately to take the long trip to Northern Kalimdor across the sea. Lasmirria remained
in Booty Bay with Atreyuu to make sure he was all right - and to see if Deila would turn up.

Faalkor did indeed find Deila in Moonglade, curled up in bear form near the bear spirit. Changing into his ghost wolf form, Faalkor proved
to be a calming soothing presence, and Deila let him curl up with her. Once they started to talk, it was clear that Deila was beside herself
in fear and grief - thinking that she had killed Atreyuu during her loss of control. Faalkor was quick to soothe her, reassuring her that
Atreyuu was alive - and that he was not harmed. However, Deila had to return soon and re-establish her link with him, or it could prove
dire for both of them. The two talked at length, Faalkor being a comforting ear and a friend as Deila unloaded her worries. Afterwards,
she felt that she was able to return to Booty Bay after a lot of coaxing from the Shaman...and the two hearthstoned back to Stranglethorn
Vale.

Deila arrived not a moment too soon - and her and Atreyuu curled up together and didn't move for the entire night after. Their connection
shakily reformed when they were in close proximity to each other and as they remained close - repaired while they slept from the seperation
trauma.

Not wanting to have that happen ever again, Deila resolved to continue her Druid training and become stronger and more able to control her
animal forms. After another period of adjustment with her Bonded - she departed back to Moonglade on a retreat to continue her training.
Atreyuu moved back to Stormwind where he rented a small apartment from someone who had previously owed a favor. The small living space was
quiet and cozy and overlooked the harbor.

This time, with the seperation from his Bonded not so traumatic, Atreyuu was better able to handle it and so wasn't effected by Bonding
sickness like he had been before in Booty Bay. However - he became anti-social and withdrawn...and avoided his fellow guild members. He
also neglected his training once more, keeping to himself in his apartment and burying himself in his sketches. His armor and weapons lay
scattered and dusty and unused around the small apartment.

-A FATHER'S RETURN-

During this period - Atreyuu sometimes travelled to Ironforge for a change of scenery. It was during one of these trips that he met Irulain
Twilight - one of the many new Death Knights of the Ebon Blade wandering around most major cities. The young warrior had been aware of King
Varian's declaration in Stormwind, the King agreeing to allow the newly freed Death Knights to become part of the Alliance. However - he never
had a chance to meet any of them, nor had the desire to up until this point.

For the past couple of months, Atreyuu had not seen a lot of his guildmates or friends. Jexuun had all but disappeared in Northrend as had
Alihandra and Ferren. Lasmirria last he had heard, had been working in both Outlands and Northrend. Jayda had moved on to Northrend after her
long stay in Outlands and Faalkor last he heard, had been working in Outlands. Even Faraz had up and disappeared without a trace, as had other
guild members. He rarely if ever - heard word from any of them and hiding his hurt under a veil of anger, never bothered to try and contact
them in return in an almost childish act of defiance.

When he first caught a glimpse of Irulain training in the Military Ward in Ironforge, Atreyuu mistakened her for Alihandra and proceeded to
greet her warmly. He instantly backed off at her reaction - realising apon seeing her cold frosty eyes that she was one of them. A Death
Knight and not his Aunt. He knew that they used to be of the scourge, but did not know much to warrant much of a negative reaction. However
- he remained both disgusted and fascinatted with them...quietly disturbed and giving them distance.

Once they hesitantly introduced themselves - Irulain flat out asked him if he knew a Matiyu...for he looked just like him. Atreyuu felt ice
water run through his veins at this, for the question caught him off guard. The two of them were at a tense stand off - Irulain wanting to
know about this Alihandra that Atreyuu had mistakened her for, and Atreyuu wanted to know how she knew a Matiyu that looked like him. Finally,
as frustrations grew, Irulain challenged Atreyuu to a duel. A contest with the information each other shared as the prize. Atreyuu, despite
the fact that he had not been in combat for months - let his emotions speak for him and he heatedly accepted the challenge.

Outside Ironforge at the cities gargantuan gates, Atreyuu and Irulain spent the next 20 minutes or so locked in combat (with some breaks
and words inbetween). What had started out as heated fighting (with Atreyuu getting angrier knowing that Irulain was merely going 'easy' on him)
had become friendly sparring in focused competition. Atreyuu finally had to stop when his arms and shoulders were causing him too much pain to
go on. They talked at length afterwards, Atreyuu's fears being realised when she revealed that his Father was not dead, but had returned in
unlife as one of the Ebon Hold's Death Knights. Atreyuu - furious and upset, refused to aknowledge this as truth. After he finished that
part of the conversation, not wanting to hear any more of it, Irulain coaxed him into telling her about Alihandra. Not knowing of Irulain's
connection with the Huntress, Atreyuu just told her what he knew - and how they met. Irulain and Atreyuu parted on tense - but not overly
negative terms.

Over the next few weeks - Atreyuu would meet Irulain again and they would spend many hours talking and forging an unexpected friendship.
It was also during this time, that Alihandra and Jexuun found him in Ironforge and had a talk with him. Jexuun couldn't stay long, and
Atreyuu shared an awkward good bye - hiding most of his negative emotions under a quiet facade. It was clear that the lengthened seperation
from Deila was getting to him, and the first signs of Bonding sickness were showing. On top of that - there was added stress in relation to
finding out that his Father was a now a Death Knight. It was all Alihandra could do to make him eat a full meal and get proper rest.

Alihandra remained with him that night, and the next day they spent some time fishing. When seeing that his arms and shoulders were still
stiff and bothering him, Alihandra told her nephew that she would send one of her wards - Oboro - to meet him and help. The young draenei
Hunter was talented with plants and the healing arts and could help Atreyuu's discomfort. Within a week - Oboro met with Atreyuu in Ironforge,
and the two young draenei instantly hit it off. Atreyuu was delighted to meet another close to his own age...and he was ecstatic to be able
to speak in his own language and communicate with freedom. Oboro looked Atreyuu's old injuries over - and was able to use his skills to help
start the healing process so that Atreyuu would be able to regain full use of his arms (with training on top of that) - so that he would be
able to wield weapons unhindered.

The two draenei stayed up late into the night chatting and trading stories about their experiences on Draenor. It was clear that these two
would be close friends for a long long time afterward.

Not long after that - within the same week - Irulain showed up at Trey's small apartment in Stormwind for a surprise visit, bringing Atreyuu
and her some lunch so they could eat and chat together. Unknown to the two of them - Alihandra and Ferren was on their way to the apartment
as well, bringing some refreshments and a reluctant Matiyu in tow. Matiyu did not know that Alihandra intended on bringing him to his son's
apartment, but was merely reluctant to be stuck in a social situation that was relaxation and not combat. By now - he and Irulain as well as
a handful of other Death Knights - had joined Maelstrom's ranks and given sanctuary under their colors. Since Alihandra was his superior
officer, he was obligated to do as she asked - and so he did without a word of complaint.

*NOTE* - A detailed account of this visit - and Atreyuu and Matiyu's first meeting will be posted up on the guild website for everyone
to be able to read!

Now there was no mistaking that Matiyu existed and definitely no mistake what he was. This face to face realisation was a hard fact for
Atreyuu to accept. At the time of this writing - Father and Son have avoided each other since their first initial meeting.

-DEILA'S RETURN-

The past few weeks have been a blur to Atreyuu. Deila had finally returned after her long training retreat - and the two Bonded were lovingly
reunited just in time for the Feast of Winter Veil. They travelled to Ironforge and spent the entire length of the festival celebrating there.
They had much time to relax and catch up on what has been happening - Deila being a great support and a soothing balm to his troubled spirit as
Trey told her about recent events with the Death Knights and Matiyu. She was happy to hear that he made a new friend in Oboro and was glad that
he was able to see Alihandra and Jexuun - even if it was for a short time.

It was during this time, that Deila (with great amusement) told Atreyuu that her mother Lasmirria was involved with Faalkor. The warrior, who
had been out of the loop for the best part of a year was shocked to find out that Faalkor and Jayda were not together and found it hugely ironic
that the shaman would be with Deila's mother.

It only took a matter of days - but after Atreyuu reunited with Deila, it was no time at all before he was back to normal - happy and more
relaxed than he had been for a long time.

There was a tense period around this time, when Alihandra had disappeared without a trace. Irulain told Atreyuu what had happened, that they
had had a confrontation ending with Irulain utilising her special abilities in a fit of frustration. This 'Winter's Kiss' - re-awakened memories
in Alihandra of Irulain - which Atreyuu found out at this time - happened to be her daughter who had died of sickness at a young age - and who
had been reborn and raised into forced adulthood as a Death Knight. A child weapon in an adult body. The Beast half of Aliha was awakened as
a result of this shock (for she had no recollection of her daughter before this) and the Huntress disappeared into the wilds of Northrend,
leaving Ferren behind.

Irulain left for Northrend to look for Alihandra - and Atreyuu who could not go with her, remained back in the Eastern Kingdoms, worried out
of his mind. Before she left however, Irulain asked Atreyuu to let her have the medallion that Alihandra gave him when they were in Gnomeregan
many many months ago. With it, she hoped to bring Alihandra back. Atreyuu gave her the medallion without protest, hoping that they would both
return safely.

Once the feast of Winter Veil was over, Deila decided that it was high time that they should look for work and train together again. Wanting
to put this from his mind for now and feel like he was doing something productive, Atreyuu agreed. The two Bonded travelled to Kalimdor -
ending up in Tanaris the desert country. There, they settled in Gadgetzan to assist the inhabitants. It is there that they remain at the
time of this writing, assisting the goblins and other citizens of the neutral desert town.

Atreyuu has seen Irulain once since she had gone to Northrend - and was relieved to find that Alihandra was found and relatively back to
her regular self. When Irulain tried to give Atreyuu back the medallion - which he found out used to belong to her father - he gently refused
and urged her to keep it since it belonged more to her than to him. After the two friends talked at length, Atreyuu was able to find out the
entire story about what had happened. He is just relieved that everyone involved is relatively okay for the time being.

AND ATREYUU'S ADVENTURES CONTINUE........!!!
