Then I went to the Vietnam War Memorial and found a familiar last name on the wall. In fact, there are three Radtkes who were killed in the war. I made tracings of their names which I'm bringing home to help me remember about the war. Flat Luke points to the name of Eric R. Radtke on the Vietnam War Memorial. CLICK FOR A LARGER VIEW

My book today is The Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg. Remember how my cousin Flat Stanley spent a night at the museum? In this book Claudia and her little brother Jamie live in a museum for an entire week! They solved a mystery and learn many good lessons. I think that Luke and his friends would enjoy hearing this book, too. The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg
