Thursday, February, 22 My trip home
Flat Luke.
This is me, Flat Luke!
The Flat Stanley Project
Now I am packed and in the mail for my return trip to Minnesota.

The outside of my traveling box says "Fragile", "This side up", and "Valuable". Just like Flat Stanley's traveling envelope!

When I tried to be a kite, I got caught in a tree and fell to the ground. Just like Stanley. These are all cherry trees which will be in blossom in about one month. My host says they are VERY pretty then. Flat Luke lands under the cherry trees. CLICK FOR A LARGER VIEW

At the art museum, I asked the security guard if they needed any help looking for thieves. I wanted to be a hero like Flat Stanley. The guard said they had no thieves. So I just sat down and enjoyed the paintings. Flat Luke enjoys the are museum. CLICK FOR A LARGER VIEW

My goodness, what wonderful memories I have.

But I'm getting a bit hungry. Good thing my host packed an egg salad sandwich for my trip home. She gave me a toothbrush holder of water too, just like Flat Stanley.

I can hardly wait to get home and see Luke and his friends. I want to tell them all about my trip. I hope they go to Maryland for a visit someday, too!

Good bye,

Flat Luke
