I'm putting
together a book of correction officer and law enforcement
stories. It's time to give the public their "wake up
call". Isn't it time
we tell them who's behind those bars, how they got there and what
goes
on behind those bars? I'm sorry Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Public, this is
the REAL world and the prisons are not full of innocent people who have
been persecuted!
We have the ability to set the records straight because we aren't
selling newspapers or running for office...so let's join together and
do it! Let's shake the "sugar coating" off and tell it like it is.
Let's talk about how the stress level rises when those doors slide
behind us and close with that final clang.Let's get together and help each other, share some "laughs of the
trade" as we enlighten the public who their new neighbor might be,
or who their kids future scout leader could be and who they may be
"rubbing elbows with in their local stores.
