Sirus Moran, of the Moran Clan and Brothers Grimm tag team.
Handler: Jarett Charowsky
E-Mail:
Fletcher@mb.imag.netICQ: 22683471
Height/Weight: 6', 234 lbs.
Home Town: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Face/Heel/Tweener: face.
Entrance: Originally, and still does usually, comes down to 'More Human Than Human' playing over the speakers. On the screen above him is a clip of Sirus standing in a hallway holding onto 'Al' and waving to all of the nice people. He comes out onto the stage and smiles while being genuinely happy to be here and his aura proves it. He runs and jumps up and down the aisle. He brings 'Al' along with him to the ring, waving him in the air and greeting and high fiving as many fans as possible. He slides into the ring, tells 'Al' to behave and sets him up in the corner but out of harms way.
He leaves to the song 'Mr. President' by Randy Newman.
Some of his other favorite songs and ones that he has used on more than one occasion, would be 'Mr. President' by Randy Newman (as an intro song if it's a match that the President has forced him into. Although, Sirus doesn't think he's ever forced into anything), 'Bear Man' his own take on 'Soul Man', 'Why Can't We Be Friends', 'War' and any other that strikes his fancy and is relevant at the time.
Attire: Currently comes down in jeans, a short sleeved T-shirt with a red maple leaf in the middle and red sleeves (bearing a resemblance to the Canadian Flag). The eternal chaos symbol (the symbol for infinity overlaid on top of the symbol for chaos) is on the back of the shirt. The 'L7' in grease paint is ever present on his forehead. If he has any title belts at the time, he always wears at least one of them to the ring (and to the grocery store, McDonalds, the shower ....). If he has two, and one is the tag team belt, he'll wear that one over the other one, even if it's a world title belt. 'Al' is always with him. I mean always! Except for when he's bear napped or there's been a 'misunderstanding' between the two and they need a time out..
Originally, and still occasionally he comes down in black wrestling trunks, white tank top, a black symbol of chaos (directional arrows pointing in 8 standard directions, i.e. N, S, W, E ) and a symbol for infinity in red over it ( an eight lying on it's side ). Has 'L7' in black on his forehead. Occasionally wears Brothers Grimm shirts or a federation shirt as well.
In the past he has dressed up in various other costumes from time to time. A blues brother, ghost buster, toga, once as Raizzor and once as the Masked Mauler. If the mood strikes him, he'll try whatever pops into hi mind.
History: At this point, we're assuming that he has parents, although his brother Fletcher, sister Samantha and uncle Mack are really the only three members of his immediate family we've seen, or heard spoken about.
At a young age he knew he loved wrestling. He'd wrestle all the time. Thinking back on his upbringing he said "Well, the cat gave me a scare a few times, but I knew I could take him".
His Uncle Mack was a wrestler before and the Moran clan got to go to some of his matches around the country and even got to meet some of the wrestlers backstage. Sirus was in awe of everyone and tried to mimic them in the ring before an event and after as well. Sirus would often fall asleep in the middle of the ring forcing Mack to come in and scoop him up so the rest of the crew could tear the ring down.
On one faithful birthday, one that Mack regrets to this very day, Sirus' uncle gave him a stuffed bear and, for reasons unknown, Sirus called him 'Al'. They were inseparable. They went everywhere and did everything together. Sirus was heartbroken one day when they moved into a new house and 'Al' was no where to be found. Sirus wondered what he had said to make his friend disappear.
After moving into the new house when the three children were still fairly young, the Morans adopted a boy who has only ever been called Grifter. Sirus and he cemented this pact further by becoming fast friends and blood brothers. The only things we knew about Grifter is that he was born in Moose Jaw, spent some time in New Orleans and has a necklace with a pendant on it with the letters 'V.V.'.
Sirus got into the local wrestling group because he didn't know when to quit. He also got asked to leave because he didn't know when to quit. Grifter and Fletcher also trained in the same local school, but they were a little bit more reserved and were allowed to stay on. Sirus lost his focus for a bit, but regained it quickly when found his old friend 'Al' in a trunk in the attic. Ever since then he's been on a tear. With guidance from 'Al', training from his Uncle and his blood brother Grifter as a partner, he's a force in the PWA. He has sided with people like Raizzor, Chamelion, Corpse, Reese, Canadian Crippler and even Remo (when he was the GOOD doctor) Winning the tag team titles more than anyone else, and the World title once by going through ten wrestlers in one night (sort of).
Sirus is much like a big boyscout. He is a face to the letter. He will not cheat in a match, will not attack people in the locker room, he will not ambush someone in the ring. People have remarked that he is like Superman in that respect, but if anything, he's more like Captain Marvel. He has a naivete about him that gets him through life a very content man, but it does get him into trouble sometimes. He is usually blatantly unaware if a friend will turn on him, that someone is putting him down or there is even evil under foot. He has been known to help out heels if they are under attack by overwhelming odds and will believe the best of people, even if they have not deserved, ever show a good side or ever will in their lifetime.
Sirus is the unofficial leader of the Moran Clan, which officially consists of himself, 'Al', Grifter, Fletcher, Samantha, Mack, and the Prisoner. There have never been any others part of the group. The Prisoner, whose identity is unknown, is a friend of Fletcher's and is now part of the Clan.
At some point in his career, and before some other guy in another fed was called it, Sirus has been the Chosen One. Chosen for what, nobody knows. But this usually does come back into conversations when the Good vs. Evil PPVs happen or when another wrestler claims to be from the depths of hell or a surrounding neighborhood.
Sirus has since gone on to fight the good fight, never striking first but often striking last. Protecting the ring against evil run-ins and beatings. The MoA, Operation Wang Chung, Rage and Fear, any of whom would rush the ring. Friends with, but not partners or allies with anyone for very long, who seems like a good idea at the time. But this doesn't usually last, people tend to change their minds about what they're doing and turn heel on Sirus himself. McDee, MVP, Raizzor, Rage and Fear ... the list is unfortunately a long one. Sirus has a good heart but isn't always too quick on the uptake.
Sirus seems to be the only person who can 'hear' 'Al' and Grifter. He has spoken on what Grifter has 'said' or thought and Grifter never seems to want to correct him because Sirus always correctly hears him. And 'Al' ... well, that's better left alone I think.
Along with being invited to interfed PPVs, Sirus has attained every belt in the PWA (Tag Team, World, IC, TV, Internet, Grizzly, and Hardcore), minus the Women's title, because he won't go to Switzerland for the operation. He has also won the Undisputed Interfed title twice and the AOWF tag team titles with Monkey McDee. The PWA Tag Team belts never seem far from the Brothers Grimm if they aren't currently around their waists.
Finishing Moves:
Nameless Knock Out. (On his application he put "Name? It doesn't need a name; it isn't alive is it? Do you pay it? What kind of a stupid question is this any way?" He has since adopted the Nameless Knock Out after an announcer used the name in a match.). This is his main finishing move.
Description: After locking his opponent's arms under his armpits he delivers 3 to 5 head butts. He then whips them off the ropes and picks them up, spins 180 and does a sit down power bomb.
Other finishing moves or Signature moves
1) Wrong Hand of Doom. Because, Sirus believes there can't be a right hand of doom.
Description: Heart Punch.
2) Organ Grinder
Description "Geeze, first you nag at me for having a finisher with no name, now it's a problem that I have a name and no move to go with it? I'm getting really tired of you people."
3) Narcosleepy
Basically a sleeper hold. Can be used either standing or down on the mat.
4) Grizzly Hug
A bear hug taught to him by 'Al'.
5) ('Al') … Cherche la Vache!
When his opponent is on the mat, he braces his feet against his opponents, grabs his arms then falls backwards catapulting the other guy face first onto the top turnbuckle. (Not really sure what's it's called, modified slingshot maybe?)
Tag Team finisher
1) Clan-destine
Description. Hart Attack. Grifter lifts up the opponent like the start of a spine buster; Sirus comes off the ropes and hits a running, feet first clothesline.
