Another major expansion has taken place at FLK. A third (C) Concourse has been built, and the original second (B) Concourse has been lengthened considerably, allowing an additonal 4 jetways to be added. This allows interested domestic airlines to make FLK a mini-hub.

The end of B Concourse has been changed internally to allow for international arrivals, with a customs area in the lower level. Each gate allows for change-over to domestic reception.

United and American have moved to the expanded B Concourse to allow for more traffic. Continental was also interested in using the B Concourse, but came in late in the game, and had to settle for the smaller C Concourse. This will be shared with Delta, USAir and any other domestic airline that expresses an interest in flying to FLK.

This leaves the A Concourse for any regional and smaller airlines to use.

A new feature to FLK is the observation lounges located between the concourses. Mini-malls, food courts and other amenities are located in this area also.
