Complete, Original Software Packages | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
$50 Ready,Set,Go! 5.14 from Letraset/Manhattan Graphics 1992 While PageMaker was marketed like WindowsOS, RSG was, like Apple, the original and best of its ilk. None of the current layout programs use anything but the modular system that RSG originated. This version was the cream of the Letraset/Manhattan Graphics crop. Has the complete Pantone Matching System 747XR Series colors built in. You won't need color collaboration. Print plate-ready film as easily as quick proofs. Gets the most out of PostScript and QuickDraw printers. The manuals here hardly have been touched. The one I had for RSG 4.5 was a lesson in layout, and the rest was cruising. One manual and one floppy are not from the original package. I left the manual at a newspaper, and the second floppy died. Fortunately, I found the exact same version by chance, so the package is complete again. Your good fortune. You don't see this often, believe me, I looked for two years. This works so great and fast under System Update 7.6, but as originally released, it works on any 1992-era Macintosh with 2MB of RAM and a hard disk. Backwards, it is compatible with System Update 6.0.3, Finder 6.1, LaserWriter and Laser Prep 6.0, PrintMonitor 1.3 and Font/DA Mover (!) 3.8. And yes, it even works under MacOS 8.1. There's only one copy of everything here. Grab this one while you can. |

$20 Electronic Arts Studio/1 1.0 1989 Blast from the past. You like to draw on the B&W Macs? Studio/1 excels. You need to retouch or create HyperCard art? Studio/1 is just what you need, even has the XCMDs. Animation? That's what this is best at. Go completely retro with your art. Three 800KB diskettes: the program, the animation disk and the HyperCard disk. Fully half the 350-page manual is reference. The metaphor here is a professional animation studio. The techniques in most of today's painting programs come from Studio/1's ability to do Shadow Effects, Three Dimensional Shapes, Patterns and Gradients in B&W. All you need is a vintage Mac with System Update 6.02 or higher. It will only occupy about 3MB of hard disk space. It loads on a Quadra '040 with System Update 7.6.1 installed, and doesn't seem to crash. This is a collectible nonetheless. As with all items on this page, look below the description box for the link Photo. Yeah, that's it, just below here! |
