Anchels (and Jason) in Ecuador
This is kind of what the whole trip was like. Jason bugs Dayna. Dayna bugs Jason. Jason pokes Dayna. Dayna yells at Jason. Jason tries to kiss Dayna. Dayna scowls and pushes Jason away - sounds fun, doesn't it?
Dayna and Jason on the equator -
their love spans both hemispheres.
This is my favourite picture from the whole trip. We were in a town called Misajualli at the edge of the jungle and right in town lived a bunch of monkeys. They were truly adorable - but thieves. We saw one steal a CD from a construction worker's bag and run up a tree with it. And another one went right into Dayna's pocket looking for treats.

aaah... mud. While hiking through the jungle we came upon this great therapeutic, healing clay.
I love hot springs. If I could live within walking distance (okay-a quick subway ride) of thermal hot springs I would be the happiest girl in the whole wide word. We kept having to remind ourselves that we were in Ecuador, sitting in natural springs  and looking up at the Andes. Pretty freakin' amazing.
In the jungle, all it takes to be a superhero is a bathing suit and rubber boots. Once transformed we then had the ability to...
...boldly hike in chest high water through a canyon with bats hurling themselves at our heads and some of the biggest bugs I've ever encountered in my life (and I lived with Dayna for 18 years). It's come to my attention that some people call me a princess - let's all remember this picture the next time that comes up.
