The Compassionate Friends is a nonprofit organization offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents and siblings. The purposes are to promote healing and to aid parents in the positive resolution of the grief experience upon the death of their child, and to foster the physical and emotional health of bereaved parents and siblings.

In rememberance of our children, the Flint chapter of TCF annually hosts a picnic and balloon launch, a golf outing fundraiser, and a holiday memorial candlelight service.
