Yep, that’s my name. This is my first miserable attempt at a website for me ever, and hopefully the last. So try not to make fun of it. Thanks. Oh yea, and a special thanks to my sister, Lanna, because she taught me how to make this groovy thing. If you see any typos or anything weird here, tell me so that I can correct it.

3/30/03- Comments I’ve gotten on Lanna’s haircut: 1- “It’s so cute!” (said by a gay guy) 2- I like your sister’s haircut. 3- “I saw her in the hall and I was like… is that Lanna?! It just looks so… different.” 4- “omg, I can’t believe someone complimented Lanna’s new haircut!” Life’s been pretty boring. The sad thing is that probably the most exciting thing that happened today is that I got to cut about 1 inch off of Shauna’s hair. Just one strand, just one inch. It was fun. I also got my hair trimmed. Wooohoo! Lately I’ve been watching a lot of chick flicks. Hmm… last week I watched 2-weeks notice, yesterday I watched Miss Congeniality (again), and today I watched Maid in Manhattan. It was a cute movie, especially Jennifer Lopez’s kid Ty. AHHHHHH!!!! Speaking of little kids, I added a comment up there. Starting with ‘My boyfriend’…. Yea, it’s not real, I swear! Shauna’s leaving tomorrow morning. L We get to wake up at seven and drive to Greensboro to take her to the airport there. Probably something about how it’s cheaper. I’ll miss her. Ever since she came home I’ve been going to sleep at around two as opposed to my regular 10 o’clock. She’s been keeping me up all night and into the morning telling me about her adventures at college. Apparently guys like to drink beer a lot, moon each other, and girls think flashing people is no big deal. I’m scared. L So today I got my hair trimmed, Shauna got her hair trimmed, and my mom got her hair cut… all at home. Shauna cut my mom’s hair. J She accidentally scraped one of my mom’s ear with the scissors, and my mom got to reminiscing. She said that when she was young once when her mom was cutting her hair, she accidentally nipped off a bit of it. Then my grandmother said something along the lines of, “Your ears are too big!” Hehe. Today in Chinese school these people from the UNC channel came in to film us during class. Something else interesting happened in Chinese school today. You see, the end of Chinese school is nearing (thanks goooodness!!!), and at the end of each school year ever class has a little talent show performance. Calvin brought his mp3 player, Tony brought speakers, and they asked the teacher if they could sing a song for the talent show… and also do a preview for the class. My Nazi teacher said yes, they plugged everything up, and it started blasting “Ugly Girl” by Tai mai shu (I think that’s what it’s called?) Lanna said she felt embarrassed for Calvin. The scariest thing though was that our teacher was bobbing her head to the music and smiling…. Probably cause’ she can relate to the song. Ouch! Speaking of Calvin, I’ve got a picture of my desktop under Blah, Calvin requested that I put it up. Well, nothing much more for me to do, so I think I’ll go to sleep now. Nighty morning!

3/21/02- Dooooood!!! I LOVE MY SOCKS!!! I got these socks today that are sooo nice (for free!!). When I’m walking around in them, it feels like I’m walking barefoot on a 2-inch thick plush carpet. Sooo sWEeet!! Dang… those socks are enough to brighten up my week! Today I went on a road trip to Elkin something… It was pretty boring on the way there. My mom made me memorize vocabulary…. Until I complained of fatigue and went to sleep. Then on the way back, we decided to go to Airy Mountain a.k.a. Pilot Mountain a.k.a. (Man(2) tou(2) shan(1))- I think that means steamed bun in English. If any of you have ever seen the mountain, you’d know what I’m talking about. But by the time we got to it, it was closed. Stupid. So now that Spring break is almost over, I kinda wish I had another week to just chill, do my math homework, find Ali & Nino…. Sigh. Back to getting overloaded with busywork. 3/20/03- HAPPY BIRTHDAY LESLIE! For a sweet sIxtEEn. You should watch the movie Sixteen Candles- it’s a nice, cute, sappy, funny movie. And since it’s her birthday, I’m updating just for her! :D Ok, so… spring break isn’t as exciting as I had pumped it up to be. Every day is sooo boring. L And I know that even though I’ve had/will have approximately 9 free days to finish my math homework, I’ll do it on Monday during lunch. Aye me! I’m the perfect victim for procrastination. -_-; Haha.. I din’t think right now should be the time to start using anime smilies. Mannnnn my sister is such a Bizatch. I make her dumplings three nights in a row, and she won’t even make me a freaking chinese pancake! (I think that’s what they’re called?) Anyways, it’s really sad how society’s picture of a beautiful girl is an anorexic, mal-nutrioned girl. I know, I know, I shouldn’t be talking, but it’s not like I purposely starve myself to stay skinny. Not saying that I do starve myself…?! Anyways, I’m talking about this because I saw this picture of a girl who was purposely sticking her tummy out, but there was nothing there…. She looked like a normal skinny person…. But then the subtitle on the picture was PREGNANT. That’s really messed up… Anyways, funny as it sounds I’m excited about school starting again. Anything’s better than this boring… nothingness. By the way, if you go to the Friends? Page, there’s this whole schbang on Chris Lin trying to hit on some random girl. It’s pretty sweeeet. Yes, I’ll take the full blame, I made him do it. *snicker* I wonder why Bernie refuses to arm wrestle me…? (I know the real answer)J I’ve been so bored this spring break that I’ve downloaded a bunch of new songs and made about 5 playlists. Ay me! War is bad. Bush is a dumbass.

3/10/03- So… I’ve been really sick for the past couple of days. I guess you could call it a sore throat, but that seems like an understatement to what I have. For me, it hurts to swallow so much that I cringe when I have to swallow and that I try to avoid eating and drinking. (Last night my mom made me gargle water mixed with salt.) Blech! But… as it is I am sick, I have to drink lots of fluids in order to get better. It’s kinda scary when after you’ve peed in the toilet, the stuff in the toilet bowl is the same color as before you did your number. As in, you’ve drunk so much water that your pee is clear. Yikes! If I didn’t have to use toilet paper, then I could save water by not flushing the toilet… the next person wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference! Har har har. So today I carried around this huge canteen thing filled with Green Tea; I had to ‘go’ before/after every single period. It was pretty depressing and embarrassing, not like anyone’s gonna be counting how many trips Athena makes to the bathroom! Hah. I wish….. Not. Several people commented that I looked like a camper with my huge thermos and huge backpack. Woohoo! I’m going on a camping escapade at Enloe! Enough of that… Yesterday, when I was reading upstairs trying to get better, my mom told me to go outside to read. I was suspicious and asked her why. Mom-“Umm... it’s a nice day outside, and…. …. That’s why you should go read outside.” Me- “…why? That’s not good enough of a reason.” Mom- “Uh… sunlight is good for you.” In other words, she was politely calling me pasty. !@#!@$ I can’t help it…. Boohoo. (Yes, I did finish my reading outside.) Haha. Orchestra trip… I didn’t go. The absence of my fellow orchestra and some band members has shown me just how sad my life is. I must be a true orch dork, because it seemed like all my friends were gone on Thursday and Friday. If you’re not in orchestra or band, and you’re my friend, and you’re reading this (well of course you are! What am I thinking?!), don’t be insulted… I’m just talking about a good majority of my friends that are in orchestra.

2/25/03- While I was walking home from the bus stop today, I noticed that this usually bare willow tree in my neighborhood had tiny leaves on it! Spring is coming… pretty flowers, birds chirping, green everywhere… along with mosquitoes. Apparently mosquitoes are very selective, and like only some blood types. Lucky me, I’m very loved my mosquitoes. L Um… since I last updated, Moosie got spayed. It’s sad because now there isn’t going to be any possibility of mini-Moosies running around. Also, to spay her, the veterinarians had to cut off like…. All her hair under stomach. Which looks really weird because she’s got long hair on her back, but at the bottom it’s just skin. Poor Moosie. L Um, got my braces tightened yesterday! The nurse people said that this is going to be my last chain… something like that. So now my teeth really hurt. During lunch I couldn’t even eat my salad in a bag. I was so hungry that I was forced to drink my ranch. Ewww… ranch is actually pretty good, but after you drink too much of it plain, it starts to burn. I would know. *sigh* haha. And because I’m so hungry, now I’m forced to eat these nasty Spaghetti O’s. I think I used to like them, but now they just make me feel sick. All state was last weekend! Fun stuff. I’m getting passed around by the P. brothers. L Not like I don’t mind… haha, jk. “Ooo! She’s so ugly, oh yeah, oh yeah.”

2/16/03- I just finished watching Gone in 60 Seconds…. Boy was that exhilarating! *Nicholas Cage*… lalalala. Anyways, so while we were watching the commercials, the whole ‘anti-drug/ talk to your kid about not doing drugs’ commercial came on. I was sitting next to my mom, so I playfully asked her where my drug talk was. She said, “If you want to smoke, just don’t do it in the house.” Ha ha ha. Next subject-> I was talking to Leslie, and I wanna know am I the only one who’s heard of a grave robber? You know, like robbing the cradle if you go after kids, grave robber/digger/whatever if you go after older men… ? …No school tomorrow! Yippeee! I hate how Wake county people take for forever to decide if we’re gonna have school the next day due to weather… the roads are icy, it’s sleeting, and they still don’t make the decision! Drives me insane. Oh yea, and now my goal in school is to make borderline A’s. Which I don’t know how I’ll do.. Cause I usually just ‘try my best’ and aim for 100. This is because… if I make bad grades, my mom gets mad, if I make good grades… my mom feels like she has to push me harder or else I’ll ‘go bad’ again. So I got a really good grade on my English interim, and my mom posts it up on the refrigerator. (You see this in movies a lot.) And then later she makes me do my homework downstairs where she can watch me when I usually do my homework upstairs. It’s cause of the stupid interim. So I got really mad, took it off the refrigerator, and tore it up. MAN that really got her cheesed off. I was just reading this over, and I’m thinking maybe I should start indenting, making paragraphs after each little subject… but then that’d break the pattern… nice straight lines at the left margin. OCD. :-D

2/05/03- “It’s been awhile, since I could hold my head up high. It’s been awhile, since I last updated.” Well today Mrs. Mac wasn’t here in orchestra, so Leslie, Davina, and I got to stay in the orchestra room for all of 5^th period! Well…. We did play MASH on Leslie, and I thought the results were quite hilarious.

Results: husband- Andy T., car- scooter, # of kids- 5, w occupation- maid, h occupation- musician, wedding ring- emerald, (nice traditional Chinese!) dress color- polka dotted purple and blue, facial hair- ear hair (eww Andy!), pets- fly, honeymoon- SC, live- CA.

Oh yea, and then a few days ago my math teacher bought my class 3 boxes of donuts. The eating part was fun, but it was kind of ruined because we had to calculate the volume of a donut while eating… Um… I took another quiz- what drink are you? Too lazy to update it… I’m ‘b33r.’ Not a bad thing… it said something about peace-maker/mediator. Don’t try me, please. By the way… I don’t think Moosie’s pregnant. L

1/19/03- Moosie’s pregnant! I think? Well, here’s what happened. Moosie was in heat…. As usual. You know, rolling around on the ground, meowing loudly and annoyingly every 30 seconds. Everyone in the house wanted Moosie to shut-up, and also everyone felt sorry for her. So… one day my mom was walking around when she just absently looked out the window. There sitting outside was our neighbor’s pretty black male cat looking inside… needless to say trying to get a glimpse of Moosie. My tricky tricky mom then decided to let Moosie go outside to ‘play’ for like, the first time in her life; my mom doesn’t necessarily want kittens, she just wanted to put Moosie and us out of our misery. A few hours later, Moosie comes back in, quiet; she does not roll around on the floor anymore. AHHH!! My mom bought her Friskies, some good food for the poor soon to be mother. Our last cat that was pregnant, Mimi had three kittens which we all sold… I hope we can keep at least one of Moosie’s?! Then there was All State... The night before the big shindig I decided it was time to take out the violin (sitting right under a window for at least 3 days) and practice. Thanks to my smartness, my violin was horribly out of tune, resulting in my e string popping. So the next day at All State, my violin kept on getting out of tune. Er, audition time! Stupid me, I decided to do my solo first. I messed up like… five times on that. Next, sight reading. I changed the tempo once and messed up on some of the sixteenth notes. Finally, scales. Amazingly, that was the best thing I did out of the 3 auditions. So I made String Orchestra 1^st violin. The judging was also messed up. Apparently, there were two sets of three judges, so none of the violin judges heard all of the violins. *sigh* Yea…. And then yesterday my e string popped again while trying to tune…, my bridge came off too! So that’s 2 e strings popped in 3 days. Maybe I can start a world record! L Anyways, so while I was at All State, Chinese school was going on… Er, lemme just tell a little about Chinese school. For homework every week we have to write a bunch of characters over and over. Because my Chinese handwriting is not the best in the world (I must say though, my English cursive is outstanding!), I usually get about an 85 on that. My sister Lanna is in the same class as me. Her Chinese handwriting is really pretty, she usually gets a 95. As you can see, our Chinese teacher is pretty anal. So I decided that I was going to actually try and get a good grade on my writing characters over and over again thing. So I labored over the stupid thing for about 30 minutes. The week after that, I went to all state, and Lanna went to Chinese school. (I missed Chinese school.) There, the teacher seeing my work, accused me and Lanna of cheating, saying that Lanna had written my characters for me. Lanna got really mad and yelled at the teacher, her main defense that writing the characters takes too long and that she wouldn’t do that for me. L But the teacher still could not be persuaded and said something along the lines off… (in Chinese) Athena’s a stupid student, her handwriting is ugly, this is not her work. !@#$@!#% Yea… so next week, I’m gonna go to her and say, “First off, I don’t cheat. (Go to my works page! Hardeeharhar. ) Second off, I don’t give a damn about Chinese school enough to cheat.” But… not really, I’m too much of a goody goody. L Today is Martin Luther King Junior Day, and yesterday there was a TYP concert. Actually, a TYP concert combined with a Martin Luther King Junior Children’s choir concert. Wow, their soloists were so good!! As I told Peter… I wish was the evil witch from The Little Mermaid so that I could steal their voices. Man! Not that my voice is lacking any beauty as of now. Erm… I got my report card. Nothing unsuspected…

1/05/03- ‘bout time I updated! Haha. School starts tomorrow and I really don’t want to know my midterm grades. So far, I’ve had 2 nightmares about my French midterm, and one last night about coming back to school… something about how someone hid my backpack, me skipping 1&2 period and finding my Lanna’s calculator. That’s strange, cause my calculator’s lost, not Lanna’s. L Updating… let’s start with Christmas. Summing up my presents, I mainly got jewelry and edibles. New Years’ Eve a family came over to watch the Raleigh acorn drop with us on TV. (No sparkling champagne for me. L) That’s about all for the holidays, but about four days ago my sister got into a car accident. For those of you who are thinking, “Well it’s about damn time!” Sorry to disappoint you, but it was Shauna behind the wheel, and not her fault at all. What happened was Shauna (driver), Lanna (left backseat), and I (passenger) were going to a friend’s house, but got there too early. So we decided to go buy some food. As we were driving on the main road not too far up ahead a girl was just starting to pull out of her driveway going to take left turn… and I guess didn’t see us at all. So basically what happened was Shauna honked several times and slammed on the brakes, and the girl kept going. So we collided, but she kept driving, and tore off our bumper. She stopped on the other grassy other side of the street, and we pulled into her driveway. The place that she was driving out of was something like a farm… and after she crossed the street and said “Sorry” to us, she made her way to the barn, and later in the far distance we saw her get on a tractor and drive off in the fields. (getaway… car?) Called the police. Policeman came. After our interview, we waited ten minutes before she came back. She’s Mexican, doesn’t speak English, 18, and didn’t have her license. Can’t say I feel too sorry for her… Anyways, so we stuck back on our bumper and drove off. Funny thing is I don’t remember hearing the horn honking, I just remember Lanna screaming and us bumping not lightly, but not hard enough to trigger the Air Bags.Well, there’s my near death experience of the year. But the year’s just begun… :-D

12/22/02- Yea, I was just kidding about the pick-up line. Hehe. Well… 3 more days until Christmas, and I still haven’t gotten anyone presents!! But that’s OK, I wasn’t planning to anyways. That’s cause… I’m poor, I have no money to buy presents with. And if you think I’m being crooky, I told my family that they don’t have to give me presents cause’ they’re not getting any from me. L Oh yea, and those of you who received a Christmas e-card from me and are wondering… what the heck? Basically if you signed my guestbook and left your e-mail address, I sent you a nice little e-card with a very nice little picture. :-Þ Looks like this Christmas break won’t be too fun… it seems as though I’ve been studying night and day for stupid SAT. Screw college. I seriously think I would be happy working at Taco Bell in a small house with a pet. But… don’t hold me up to those words. Is that how that phrase goes? OK, nothing more to say… eVeryone have a nice Holiday break! OO, yea! I saw Lord of the Rings- The Twin Towers. It was really good!! My favorite scenes: watching Legolas. *HOT HOT* Man! How does someone get that good looking?? Shauna’s come home for Christmas break. J

12/13/02- Friday the thirteenth!! Oooooo. Too bad my cat is brown, not black. Oh well. It seems as though a lot of my friends are suddenly making webpages. I know it’s kinda stupid, but I feel threatened. Boohoo. My webpage will always be the best though! *psych.* Anyways, onto brigter subjects. I think that I suffer from Insomnia. I mean, I get in bed around 11, but don’t fall asleep until about 3ish. I’ve checked before. J It’s because of Midterms… I know. I remember last year I couldn’t sleep after midterms because I knew that I had done really badly on all of them. This is because I was a stupid freshman, and actually listened to experienced high schoolers who said, “Freshman always freak out about exams. They’re so easy, you don’t need to study!” …I didn’t study. Now I guess I’ve been experiencing lack of sleep because I don’t want my midterms to be a Failure again. I love clam chowder. Got nothing more to say, bye. Oh yea, no one has been contributing to my ‘Friends?’ page. That makes me sad. I think I’ll take it down soon… (nudge nudge). Oh yes, and recently I have been trying to get Moosie to like me better. How? I lock her in my room with me with her favorite scratching post. There she’s forced to acknowledge my presence. Yay! I’m smart.

12/04/02- Well, the Medieval fair was today, and it was pretty cool. My whole leper thing though… It didn’t work out too well. I came to school with three strips of gauze around my head and wearing my cloak. And… my face was peeling… With the help of those beauty mask be gone wrinkles thing. Today was also snowed!! Just a little bit, but enough to get school closed one hour early, and enough to have NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!!! Saweeeet! Um, I think that’s all I have to say. Oh yea, and on my Instant messenger profile, I put this um link about “predict your love and sex life” what not thing. And so people fill out ‘personal’ questions such as “Who’s your crush?” (It’s kinda really stupid.) I thought it would be funny… and I did find out some interesting information about people, but most of the stuff was about me. Some Retards just had to go and pretend they were me and fill out the thing about me making up shit. So that really pissed me off. No school tomorrow!!! I hope it snows some more so I can make an ice queen.

12/02/02- Thanksgiving was pretty fun. My sister, Shauna came back from college to visit us, and she brought me back this really cool jacket. And… I’ve decided to give up Tetrinet for Shauna; it’s become an addiction for me, something to do when I’m bored, and I’m always bored. So now I’ll probably spend my afternoons updating this (yay!), watching TV (yay!), or starting to read more like I used to (yay!). Um, I put up a new page called ‘Friends? Check it out. If you wanna contribute, just tell me at school, im me, whatever. For the Medieval Fair, I’ve finally decided what/who I’m going to be. I’m going to be a Leper! (My other choice would be to wear this ugly dress and call myself a peasant.) My costume consists of this black overcoat? with a hood that kind of bellows out at the bottom- it’s bigger than I am, so I can pretty much cover up all of me but my face and hands. Right right, I know I’m getting very vain, I’m sorry… I can’t help it! The pink fingernail polish is because it’s sparkly and SO PRETTY!! (for myself…), and the earrings for my darling role model of a sister who wanted her ears pierced. SEEEEE?? I have a reason to this.. vanity.

11/11/02- About that spades number thing… Ted says it’s wrong. But oh well. Honors orchestra was this weekend, we had to play like…. 7 hours a day…. I think I’m exaggerating, but you get the idea. That was pretty fun. Funny story- a few days ago Lanna decided to take a nap at around 8 pm, and told me to wake her up in like thirty minutes. So I went to go wake her up at 8.30, and she told me to go away. So I was kinda mad… but because I’m such a good person, I went back to wake her up at 11 when I was going to sleep. I finally got her to get up by pulling the blanket off her, and yelling in her ear that it was 1 am. She got up, went to the computer, checked her away messages, then plopped back down on the couch. In the morning she blamed me for not waking her up. Grrrr… Ooo, and then yesterday, campus cleanup, I did this really cool kick thing, where I picked up this piece of trash with my feet (squeezed it together) and kicked toward the trash bag. The only ‘uncool’ thing about it was that I lost my balance and fell afterwards… but that’s not the point. The point is that it was super cool, and that I was proud of myself for almost making it into the trash bag. Ummmm, ESO rehersal was yesterday for the first time, and I didn’t think we sounded too bad; I think this is probably because the band people actually practiced. Those geeks! Haha, jk. I can’t wait until Thanksgiving break, Shauna’s coming home!! Oh yea, something really weird happened like two days ago. I had an English project to turn in, but I left it at home. So, I called my mom telling her to bring in my gameboard and pieces (pawns, dice, ect.). After 6^th period that day I went by the office to pick up my stuff, and the lady only gave me my gameboard. When I asked her if she had any pieces to give me, she gave me this quizzical look and then said that some other Asian girl that she thought was me came by, said the pieces were hers, and took them. UMMMM. I don’t really know how that lady knows me, but I guess she assumed that I was Asian from the name, and to all white people, all Asians look alike. Heh. Gotta go make some game pieces now. Bye!

11/1/02- Hmm… updating about once a month. Anyways, yesterday was Halloween, and did I go trick or treating? Of course! I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I went with Lanna, Kenny, Aaron, and David. Lanna was a chef, Kenny and Aaron ‘Jasons,’ and David ‘a member of the Lowes food force.’ I was a concession stand thanks to Lanna (she made it). I don’t say that as a bad thing… I liked my costume and all the parents thought it was very original, here’s what it was like. It’s just a box no bottom, a hole for the head and arms, Concession written on the front, Menu (Popcorn …..$75 Candy……. $50… ect.) on the back, bags of popcorn taped to the side, and cups and candy taped on the top. I’ll get a picture of it if I can…. Anyways, as some of you people might know… I’m really like the game of Spades. So a couple of weeks back I went to an NC state spades tournament with partner as Ted… we lost, but I think we really had the potential to win. Haha, anyways… so on the bus lately I’ve been playing with Kenny, Howard, and Vaheed, and thanks to Kenny we calculated the probability of getting a hand of only spades. It is….

10/11/02- Finally updating! Wow, a lot has passed since I’ve last updated. Hmm, let’s see. I went to see the huge Les Miserables producting in Raleigh. For those of you that wouldn’t know…. It’s basically a bunch of high school (and some middle school) students got together and did this huge musical. I was impressed, all the people could sing better than me. My favorite singer, or the one who I thought had the most talent was Fatine… I don’t know her real name in the real world. I also liked this other guy… Ternadier? Anyways, he was ‘The Master of the House.’ I liked his acting skills, his character… how he got into his part and sang like he meant what he was saying. Very cool thing. I got English extra credit for it to! Ok, and my dad has come home for a week, and because of that we went to go visit Shauna all up in her college last weekend. She hasn’t changed at all, looks the same…. acts the same. Anyways, basically we went to go eat at this really good French bakery/café called Au Bon Pain. I had this Caesar wrap… it was really good. JJJ Then we drove around in our rented Saturn and went shopping for a halogen light. Her dorm room is huge!! I’ve been in one of the NC state freshmen dorms before, and it’s about three times that big. Wow. Well, maybe that’s because she’s living in an upperclassman dorm… Anyways, ate dinner. My parents then dropped me off with Shauna around 10 and went back to their hotel. We went to a talent show, and it was pretty interesting. These college people are scandalous. That’s all I’m going to say about that. Next, we went back to her dorm and I expected to go to sleep… but a couple of Shauna’s came a-visitin’ to her dorm and started talking about what party they should go to that night. Boy was I scared. But instead they decided to go get ice cream even though it was about 12 A.M.. So we (a big group of asian girls) walked around the streets of Boston and after circling around finally stopped at a gas station and got our ice cream. Then we stood in front of a fraternity building/dorm and Shauna and her friends stood there debating if we should go in. I was thinking…. “Fraternity party= all boys= beer= drugs= horny atmosphere.” Maybe I’m just… overcautious? Anyways, we went in and there were some girls there, no alcohol, some people in one room smoking, and no horny atmosphere- just a bunch of guys playing video games, pool, talking. So that’s how guys bond… Finally got back at two, fell asleep, woke up at 8 with a horrible cold, but I enjoyed my MITing experience a lot. Oh yea, I forgot to mention, Shauna took us sailing on the Charles River. It was really windy and due to my dad and my inexperience with boats, we almost capsized. But not to fear, for Shauna was there!

9/27/02- Guess what? This is my one year braces anniversary! Hooray!! And I can’t really say… “One more year to go!” because I’ve never asked them how long I’ll have to wear these things. I’ve been writing this in short bursts because I’m also watching the travel channel. They’re building a miniature Venice in Las Vegas. I’ve found that playing Spades online de-stresses me. Um, I haven’t changed my contacts in like… 5 weeks. They’re supposed to be those soft disposable 2-week things. Heh heh, gotta save that money. My dad’s coming home from China for about 10 days tomorrow. Yay! Then he’s going back. Boohoo. Next week we’re going to go visit Shauna in Boston at her college. She’s having too much fun! Hopefully my college days will be fun too?

9/14/02- Moosie discovers television for the first time. I find it interesting that what finally catches her attention on T.V. is monkeys mating on the discovery channel. Animal porn? Anyways, while on the subject of cats…. “Guess who’s back? Back again? Mufasa’s back! Tell a friend.(Moosie.)” Actually, Moosie doesn’t seem too excited to see Mufasa right now. Even though they were friends before he left and she probably recognizes him, her first reaction to seeing him again was to hiss and hide behind the sofa. Moosie’s a retard. I hope Mufasa coming back doesn’t make her horny all over again… She’s been pretty subdued lately. Anyways, my uh ‘mini-lent’ from tnet and AIM was fine. The only time that I really wanted to get on was when I was home alone, and had the opportunity to go on without getting caught. School has been bad lately. My mom’s trying to use Mufasa to kind of bribe me. She says if I don’t make straight A’s, Mufasa is going back. Too bad that’s not going to happen, maybe I’ll try harder in order to keep the fat cat. I should put pictures of him up….

9/3/02- I think from now on, I’m going to be smart and date whenever I update…. If that makes any sense at all. I’ve decided and realized that AIM is a very bad addiction, and I should stop obsessing over it (going on every 5 minutes). So, I’ve decided that for this week 9/3-9/10 I’m going to keep myself from logging on AIM and also, playing tetrinet. Tetrinet is a very minor minor thing. (of course!) I guess you could kind of compare this to lent, but instead of this being a religious thing, it’s more as in like- I must prove myself to myself. Errr… right. I’m very glad to report that today, even though I had some minor urges to run to the computer and see who’s on to talk to, I suppressed them. The only reason that I really wanted to get on was to ask questions about homework; that’s a good thing. So I’m going to start calling people now with my many questions. Heh heh. I cleaned my bathroom today, so I’m very happy. Shauna has been at college now for awhile, and it seems as though she has totally forgotten about me and Lanna. I hope Lanna doesn’t do this to me. I’d like to keep at least one of my sisters close by when I’m old and senile and need a footrest. JUST KIDDING!

Wow…. I haven’t updated this thing in a long long time. No! Must not let fall apart.

School’s started, no biggie. Every day is just the exact same thing as yesterday, I feel like a programmed robot just milling around the crowded halls of Enloe….. occasionally failing a test. Boooo!!

Yea, Yea, so I made this summer quiz because I was really bored…. I forgot the link, and it’s stupid anyways. I’m just trying to think of something to write so I can say I updated this. Heh.

Aight, so since Summer vacation is coming up to a wrap, I guess I’ll just sum everything up that I’ve done between inquiry skills, the beach, and advanced math. About three times a week (after advanced math was over,) my sisters and some friends and I go out to play basketball, volleyball, swimming, Adventure Landing. Of course not all in the same day, but we’ve done all of this over the past few weeks. Ok, can’t think. I think lack of school has made my not so already good literary ‘skills’ already worse. Booooo!!

Now I’m a member of a ‘blogg.’ Go check it out on my links page. No tax day is nice. J I got this free stuffed lion because my mom signed up for a Belk card. Very cool. School is almost starting… and my schedule hasn’t come yet!! Booo. I’m rambling, so I stop.

New cat!!! While Lanna’s friend’s family is on vacation for a week, we get it’s cat for a week…. It’s male; Moosie’s female (& ‘in heat’); but too bad it’s spayed. It’s real name is Sat, but in my household, it’s called Mufasa.

At first Moosie hissed at him while he stared at her, but they’ve been getting along better now since we locked em’ up in Lanna’s room for a night. In fact, I think they’re friends now- they like to follow each other around and play.

I’ve got this blow-up Airplane-hat from a Tom Petty concert. It is very cool.

Thanks to her... and partly me and Shauna, the Flame of Recca Tapes and some good movies have been unlocked! Now that I’ve somewhat had a ‘reunion’ with Flame of Recca…. So I finally watched Interview with the Vampire again and also Merlin. (Are you supposed to underline movie titles?) If you haven’t seen Interview with the Vampire before, then you should…. Christian Slater and Tom Cruise is in it…. Antonio Banderas is in it…….. Kirsten Dunst is in it……. BRADD PITT is in it…… OOOOOooooooOOo0000oooooOOo. That is.. unless if you are very sensitive. (Sorry if I slaughtered the names above- as in spelling errors….)

Morgan LeFay is so cool!! “ I waunt duh cwoun.” If you haven’t seen Merlin either, you should see it too. It’s got really cool magical affects… uh… that guy from Jurassic park is in it.

Highlight of my summer: CYG Beach Trip

On Friday afternoon, June 21 my Chinese Youth Group left from my house to go to Myrtle Beach with a few of our friends and parents. We left the beach on Sunday morning, and basically the whole time we were at the beach house, we played cards and Tekken. The day we decided to actually go to the beach, it started pelting rain when we put down our towels. No one really wanted to swim except 3 people, so everyone left, went back to the beach house, and played Tekken while those 3 people swam for about an hour. On the first night we were there, we took a long walk on the beach, played tag afterwards, and then ran around the dark beach with sparklers. The day after that we went to Butterfly Pavilion- a big greenhouse (I guess?) full of butterflies (I got one to land on my finger!), plants, birds, and white fluffy chickendogs. After that a few people including me went to go see this really boring IMAX film about astronauts where Tom Cruise (yucky) narrates. I took short 1 minute naps during that because on Friday night we stayed up until about 4 in the morning playing Tekken while the parents were asleep. At night time on Saturday, we went to go see Minority Report, which was actually pretty good considering that Tom Cruise is in it. During that I took short 1 minute naps again, but I heard enough and saw enough of the important/good stuff to understand it and like it. Then we went back to the beach house, and my mom insisted that the kids go to sleep rather than stay up again. So… we all got ready, my mom went back to her room, and all the ‘cool’ people (haha) got in the girls room and played cards until about 3. What fun what fun! I must say, after playing Tekken 24/7 for 2 days, I still suck. L

Ah, well I just spent the last four days on the car to New Orleans and back. Life is O.K.

Things accomplished on the trip to New Orleans:

I memorized the whole Evita song.

I found out just how much of a freak I am by my extreme knowledge on the facts of the show Hey Arnold!

I beat Lanna and Shauna at Big Two (Biglified version of Presidents/Scum).

I saw Anne Rice’s house. (Didn’t know which one specifically was hers, but I saw it none the least.)

I decided that the way to try to knock out the boredom which comes with summer is to write a book with Shauna.

Funny thing is I brought 3 books on the trip with me- one being Sophie’s World. The whole time I only read one book (NOT Sophie’s World), and the only time I touched that book was to move it out of the way so I could get the book that I wanted to read. Stupid book…. DIE!!!! (I hope we won’t have to do anything relating to the book… considering that I’m on about page 100, haven’t touched it since the last day of Inquiry Skills, and am not planning to touch it until….. school starts?)

Inquiry Skills is over, and for that I am grateful.

Things accomplished in Inquiry Skills:

My cursive is beautiful no matter what anyone says insultingly about it. The only reason you can’t read it is because the beauty of it is just too blinding for your mere human eyes. Sigh… can’t expect much from you. Sigh…. Jealous people!

Has been updated, you can probably see I’m struggling for stuff to put on this site now. Eeeeeek…

Summer vacation is here!!!! …and Inquiry Skills and Advanced Math is over!
