| Mission Statement The USAPL Florida mission is to promote drug-free, and drug-tested powerlifting competitions, training seminars, and fitness events throughout the State of Florida. Our goal is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle that will encourage strength and fitness enthusiasts to compete at local, national and international level. USA Powerlifting is proud of the fact that our state organization is the recogniuzed and official representatrive for powerlifting in the State of Florida. Statewide competitions are open to all amateur athletes from 14 years of age and higher. |

| Girl Power !! [April Shumaker seen above squatting 122.5kgs/270lbs at the 2009 USAPL Europa Show of Champions] At this competition, April acheived a total of 362.5kgs/800lbs in the 48kg/105lb weight class. This mark not only set another Florida State Record, but now gives April the highest nationally ranked total this year in her weight class. The administrators and members of USA Powerlifting -- Florida offer our sincerest congratulations - great job! |
