| Frosty (snowball) was adopted from NYCA. He was neglected by his previous owners and turned over to the humane society where he probably would have been put to sleep if NYCA hadn't taken him and put him up for adoption. My heart went out to him when I read that the tips of his ears were missing due to frostbite. When I first got him he was so thin all you could feel were his bones. Now he's well taken care of (ok, spoiled rotten!) and happy and getting healthier everyday. It's a great feeling to be able to give this dog the attention and love that he deserves, and he returns my love tenfold. Everyone should consider adoption when looking for a new pet. The rewards are incredible. | |||||||||||||||||||||
