Competition: Hiei
Hiei x Botan
Why? - In the Dark Tournament, Hiei told her to stand back or she'd get hurt, and when he lost his soul(thanks to Kaito), she was taking care of him.
Evaluation - The theory "opposites attract" is way over used for this pair, but I guess that's the only way to explain it. Botan's peppy-ness, I feel, will only annoy Hiei further instead of attracting him. If anything, I think he'd be attracted to calm, understanding, mature types, perhaps Mukuro or Kurama or maybe Yukina.
My Opinion - This pair wasn't much at first, but then it got to a level that rivaled Kurama x Botan. I feel the same way towards that couple, and that is that, I do not like it. Botan is always being paired up with guys that are considered good looking, just because she's single.
Yusuke x Hiei
Why? - Hiei trusts Yusuke and he started to change after he's met Yusuke(so says Kurama), he saved Yusuke from Sniper
Evaluation - It was during the trip to Makai against the Four Saint Beasts that the relationship between these two developed. Yusuke trusted Hiei enough even though he has only known him as the bad guy that kidnapped Keiko and stole the other Three Sacred Items. Hiei does like Yusuke, friend wise or other.
My Comments - This pair is adorable, I would support it if I wasn't such a big Yusuke x Botan fan. Yusuke would always be able to cheer up Hiei, and I know he does, haven't you seen the pictures?
