DREAM FLIGHT is proud to have on staff two A.S.C. certified Basic Flight Instructors, John Richardson and Dick Fogle. Dick and his wife Peggy ran a busness in Herrin for many years and now spend many hours at Camelot helping out with students and doing whatever they can to help keep the place running smoothly. John has a part time auto repair busness and is always available to do maintance for anyone that needs a little help. Both have been trained at Dream Flight and do an excellent job of introducing folks to the wonderful world of Powered Parachuting. John also competes in the Greenville,IL. Shoot Out On the Prairie, Powered Parachute Championships, and we have met some great people at these events. Camelot Air Park is a 52 acre area in the middle of 4000/5000 acres of crop land and offers a hanger with class room/office/restroom and A/C storage for A/C purchased from Dream Flight. See the products page for types of products offered. We host the annual Memorial Day Fly-in at Camelot Air Park (see the events page) and invite you to stop in and join in the fun. It runs in conjunction with HerrinFesta- Italiana, (see their web site for this years entertainment), and there are lots of attractions to keep you busy. There are several fine hotels in the area and some great restaurants close by, if you want to come learn to fly at Camelot or train for your B.F.I., we will help you select accomodations to suit you. We also have a camping area (plug-ins only, but a dump station is available), if you have a camping vehicle. We look forward to seeing you soon at Camelot and sharing the good times with you and your family! We want to thank Ron Bertrand for helping get us up and running on the web and flying with us Norm & Rosie Burley |
