The Waking Hours:
Logan keeps a schedule that is a strange mix of her parents' habits. She normally starts the day when I wake up to get ready for work. From that point she doesn't understand why anybody would even think to go back to sleep. Logan will often decide to keep Mom company since she is already awake. About the time I am returning home, Logan is falling asleep. Throughout the evening she will go through varying phases of consciousness. Somewhere between 6-8pm the newborn bylaws state the world must be aware of Logan's existence. After practicing her vocal talents she will often sleep until 10 or 11pm. From there she is learning to sleep about 6 hours which gets us back to when I am waking up for work.
A little static and some baby hair, Charly only worried when I started attaching the baby to the ceiling and walls like you can with balloons.
Logan has been practicing her charms. There are times when she will just lay looking around and grinning. Some of the cutest are when she breaks out in a huge smile in her sleep. One night it sounded like she was giggling in her sleep. Occasionally the cuteness is not what we desire. At 3am when she does not want to sleep or eat she uses the "I have pretty blue eyes" look to disarm sleepy parents. (Thanks to Niall Sherman for coining such a fitting phrase.)
Logan takes naturally to basketball. Often she will sit up and watch the play move up and down the court. Rumor has it she is good luck, I believe the San Marcos Freshman Lady Rattlers are undefeated in her presence.
