Eric Stoltz. (actor names three favorite video rentals)

Eric Stoltz jokingly calls himself "Mr. Video." In fact, the prolific actor could have his own section in the video store -- and two more titles. The Prophecy and Kicking and Screaming, are due on shelves in March. But when he's on the other side of the screen, what does he watch?

* THE CAMERAMAN (1928, MGM/UA) "Buster Keaton is at his best in this lovely screwball comedy. It's a silent film, but so what? It's better than a lot of films with sound."

* LITTLE BIG MAN (1970, Fox, Video) "An extrordinary director [Arthur Penn] and lead actor [Dustin Hoffman] make this a wild, sprawling Western."

* YES, PRIME MINISTER (1986, Fox Video) "This is a hilarious British sitcom, a wonderful lampoon of all things political. I wish we had this kind of TV in our country."

BEST KNOWN as Cher's eloquent, deformed son in Mask, the actor stars as an articulate play-wright in the comedy Naked in New York. Here's what he has to say about his favorite video:

BLACK NARCISSUS (1947, Voyager) "On laser-disc, this is a most incredible film. It's [by] Michael Powell, and for my money it's one of the most amazing films ever made. It's shot and acted superbly, and the music all works together--something that I miss in modern-day movies."
