The FMS ME Chronic Pain Prayer Team is built on that same principle. A promise to pray a daily prayer for each other...to show our faith in God to help us on our journey to finding a cure. Our prayer team is created in honor of Todd Beamer. Todd was on the doomed September 11th flight, when he witnessed to the world his faith in God as he and other passengers prepared to walk in faith as they faced one of the United States greatest tragedies.
We are a Family
We are a family, sharing an illness, sharing a life only those with this disease can truly understand. We are a group who know more then the medical profession that treats us...wondering how to get the medical profession trained. We ache when we read mis-information, we fight for advocacy, pray for research money. Alone, we organize marches and create awareness events. We dream of the day people will understand what it means to have these illnesses and we know it is up to us to make that dream come true. We yearn for the emotional support we deserve and never have. Many of us live in a world of e-mail friendships, where quite naturally, we have reached out to each other and formed the strongest bonds we have ever known.
Reach Out With The Power Of Prayer
Now together let us witness to the world our faith in God to find a cure! Together in prayer, our act of faith will lead us where we need to be. Through God, we can and will find a cure. Praying
Your daily prayer can be one sentence or as long as you like. Prayers do not have to be long or complicated. Remember to tell your family and friends to join also.
