| September 18th 2002 Breaking News!!! Stella's Retirement? Stella Tennant is returning to her Scottish roots. She had decided to quit her modelling life in New York and bring her family back to her native Scotland. Stella and hubby David Lasnet have paid 475000 pounds for Edrom House, an eight-bedroomed Georgian estate in Berwickshire which has a library and a wine cellar as well as 20 acres of land. Stella's father Toby Tennant is delighted that she's coming home. (source: uk vogue) Third baby I couldn't obtain any news regarding Stella's third baby which is due anytime now. According to Birth Centre, she prefers having home births. Her first two children were born in her New York apartment with the help of midwives from the Birth Centre. Her midwives Professor Caroline Flint and Dana Sydney had not updated me regarding Stella's third baby. Stella quoted on the website, "I am not afraid of hospitals but I felt that if there were no complications with my pregnancy I would prefer to give birth in the familiar surroundings of my flat. I wanted to take as much responsibility as possible for the birth of my child" on giving birth her first son Marcel Lasnet. Burberry SoHo Earlier this year, 29.3.2002, Rose Maria Bravo, chiet executive of Burberry and Stella Tennant co-hosted an intimate dinner for 60 guests to celebrate the opening of Burberry SoHo on Spring Street. Among the guests are Amanda Brooks, Natalier Portman, Justin Portman, Anh Doung, Christopher Bailey, etc. |

Stella joined DNA DNA model management director, David Bonnouvrier just stole Stella away from his arch-enemy, Women Management. Stella is the second big name who walk away from Women recently, following Eva Herzigova's jump to One Management. According to David, "I think she just wanted to change her representation in New York. She's been at Women for a long time. She's a real icon of our industry and she's got certain expectations. She felt it's time to move on. It's very exciting for us of course. Women partner Ronnie Harris responded, "She's a very, very nice girl and we'd have wanted her to stay of course, but she wanted to move so she moved". (source:Page Six) |
